1st CHEAP <$50 Non-Stealth Closet Grow...Critisism is ok!

Ok well I have a smaller closet then some, but i have made enough room lol. This is my first grow, doing it in Miracle grow gardening soil, Feeds up to 3 months deal, the ones you get from lowes, home depot. I have more seeds Germing ATM, But 2 plants under 2 26W CFLS, As soon as they get a little better for Veg ill use 4 CFLS and go to 18/6. Heres the pictures. I will be using better pots when the roots get to the peat. Say what you gotta say, If its positive, then exelent. I came from Grasscity. I wanted to be with RIU. But lets see how great peeps are here....


Ps. the pink fan is mine and my fiance's. SHE hates pink lol. So i got it out of funny!

Is that ok for the sprout? and the lights are still on. Its 11:23 am now, i will turn off at 5pm...or was going to...
so leave it on? even for the sprouter?

Hey Z ... Yeah I would get the seedling used to the lights.

I would also put a clear cover over the seedling to keep in the humidity.

Hey Orzz, Tyvm for the input and haste response. well i dont keep them swampy but they are wet/damp. The humidity is kinda high, but I think ima add a cup of water. Co2 is not a problem, Just gonna slow leak my paintball tanks lol. Since I havent played in like a year. I got about 80 OZ of Co2, What rate of psi should be leaked for that area? Dont know exact measurements lol

You'll need to find out the square footage of your closet in order to find out frequency and duration for CO2.
High humidity good for seedlings.
Look into doing a clonebox, the speed and aggresive root growth is awsome.

Stopped in to see what's going on with your grow. Is it a specific strain or some bag seeds? I had my seedlings on 24/0 but I was told it was a bad idea. Plants need the dark like animals need to sleep. It's a time for recovery and building strength. I might be wrong though, but mine seemed stunted by the constant light. So why the LST? Why not go with topping/fiming or super croping? Just curious to know. I choose LST I'm doing 12/12 from seed in a very small space. Over all nice chap clean set up. How old is the seedling?

Thanx Neph for stopping by, I would have responded yesterday but the fucking site goes down more than my fiance.

So heres whats changed and heres whats up. I named my little sproutling Easter, since it sprouted a day after lol. added 3 little ones lol. They have been germed and now just waiting to sprout. Should be tomorrow, but we will see .

good choice going with the peat pots too, they are my fav. if you didnt know or maybe others dont, when you are ready to transplant, you can peal the top edge of the cup off. making it so the cup edge is level with the dirt. then bury that right in the soil. the cup will bio degrade and the roots will grow right through it. i find this the best way to transplant seedlings or young cuttings because you do not disturb the root ball wut so ever.

Indeed, Thank you for the scribe and the pleasures mine. And yes i did know that lol that's why its one of my favorite choices for seedlings and sprouts.

Ok well Nothing has changed much in one day, but now i have small problem, my temp is too high. I got a Therm/Hygro today, and boy is it hotter than i thought lol. heres the pix, also went to walmart, got a chain and outdoor timer, reflective tape, and a misting bottle . heres the pix. Anyone with input?

P.S. I got a pink misting bottle for the fan

Ha ha , there resource hogs, throw a lithium bat in it and it will worx lol. But man im not sure what to do, my humidity is low and my temps are high.....Sheesh.

up your ventilation, intake/exhaust. or just leave the door open the lights are on. its a sucky, non stealth way to do it, but works in a pinch.

Yah Well update aout the crap that happend lastnight is that IM STARTING OVER!!! LOL LISTEN TO THE WISE ONES. LOL MAKE THE BUDGET $150 . Easter is ok but MY fixture fell last night. So now I gotta go get some more Bulbs And a box. And ventilation. And Eventually and DIY carbon filter. IMa just do it the right way instead of half ass I might be baking a new post for it. This thread is dead lol! I will keep u guys posted.
