1ST GROW! 400w Mh/HPS Tent Grow (Nirvana Blackberry & White Castle)

Hell yeah m8, they're looking gr8! :weed:

Hopefully a little will rub off on my girls, they picked up but have stalled and I think I have some root rot. F'ckin hydro, I'm a lot fonder of soil and I rushed prep of my setup so it's coming back to bite me in the ass. Oh well, you live you learn, right?

Yeh Soil can get a bit dirty but just starting out it seemed that there was a lot more I could F*&k up when it came to a hydro setup. So i just decided to keep it "simple" (lol) and everything seems to be going ok.

So I'm having a bit of a problem that I'm nervous about... When my lights were supposed to come on tonight they didn't. It seems that my ballast is having issues firing the bulb (got it to work after about 10 minutes unplugged). Anyone else have this issue with Lumatek 400w and Mh bulbs? Other than that they look wonderful... What really makes me nervous is if this problem happens again when I go out of town in a few weeks >_<

Plants have now been labeled (lol i know a bit late o.O)

Soil pH report:
White Castle - 6.4
Blackberry (BB1) - 6.3
BB2 - 6.5
BB3 - 6.5
BB4 - 6.6

Fed them tonight and started them on their beginning stages of feeding. Used FF Big Bloom & Grow Big. Mixed 1/2 the recommended dose as i've been feeding them very lightly over they past few weeks so we shall see how they respond.

Will update with new pics probably tomorrow night or the following.

Sounds great man.

Perfect PH's for soil. I was always have to shoot low seeing how my runoff comes out high.

When are you gonna start flowering?

cant wait to see some more pics, sounds good.just make sure not to overnute at all,and yea that sucks about what happened with ur light,i just received my hps this week so i dont know much about them, hopefully someone here does?

subb'd... interested to see how your Blackberries turn out, I have 1 going in veg right now. everything is looking good so far - just remember not to veg too long, especially if your tent is only 6' tall. probably don't want to let them get any taller than 16". good luck and I'll be following along!

So here they are... I'm pretty sure you can tell which one i topped lol... the one I FIM'd is the one to the far left in the over head picture. They are all doing well. Pictures really don't do them justice.

Enjoy and tell me what ya think!

Thier green & lookin good, they are now in tha vegatative stage n will grow quickly now,id let em veg for at least a month & up to 6 weeks then flower for best yield, thier lookin great man :)

at least for another 4 weeks. Have to go out to Oakland the 23rd-28th so will probably switch them over when I get back...

Oh! Has anyone had any issues with their timers not delivering enough power to the ballast to start up their light? I think it might be the cause of my problems I have been having with my light.

i did but i got a relay switch (i think its called), it makes the timer handle the power of the ballast. anyway point is there are things out there which will fix the problem mate.
