1st Grow. 600W, Coco, 3x3 tent, Nirvana NL, WW and a Headband Clone. 16 days 12/12

Well Ive been meaning to start this journal for a while so today is the day. Heres my Setup:

Revolt 600w Ballast
Sunlight Supply Blazer 6" Aircooled hood
600w Ushio HPS for flower
600w MH that came with Revolt for Veg (1st month was under CFLs)
Coco Brick mixed with about 30% Perlite
Secret Jardin DR90
Sunlight Supply 340 CFM 6" inline fan
6"x16" Phresh Filter

Strains:
1 Nirvana Northern Lights
1 Nirvana White Widow
1 Headband Clone

Nutes:
General Hydro Flora Series (been using at half strength) every time I water
Botanicare Cal-Mag +
Botanicare Hydroplex (just started at beginning of 3rd week)

So like I said I started out with CFLs in my closet for about the 1st month before I upgraded to the 600w setup.


Then I vegged another 3 weeks under the MH before flipping to 12/12.

If anyone wants a specific pic of a certain stage let me know cuz I have been taking them pretty much every day or 2.

Well I was getting tired of hand feeding everyday so I bought the supplies for a basic drip system....ill post pics once its all setup.

Very nice set-up you have there mate and some classic strains you got there. Looking forward to seeing your Headband take off, I have some Headband crosses I`m working with now on the go. That smoke will treat you nice man. Good luck with your NL monster ... I`m sticking around for this one

Glad to have you aboard! Ya man Headband is one of my favorites and she is the only one I LST'd so im expecting a decent yield off of her. So many branches packed with bud sites! She is the frostiest and stinkiest of the lot so far too. Ill check out your journal when I get a little time too

Wow dude, what a great grow. You have some great strains as well, that main cola on the northern is gonna be massive.
I was smoking on some headband last week, and I really enjoyed her.
I'll be sticking around too.

Thanks man I did and am still doing TONS of research so I think that has helped me....only problem ive really had was a slight cal/mag problem (I think) but it didnt seem to be affecting things too much besides making some of the leaves look shitty.

It baffles me how many people I see on here start growing when you can tell they've never even googled so much as "how to grow weed" and then wonder why their plants die lol.

Ya you are right about that one my friend, Ive been very surprised by both the Widow and the NL. I thought the Widow would grow more like a sativa but nope shes got the big broad indica leaves and didnt stretch much in flower. I dont think shes getting much bigger than where shes at. Shes also the least frosty of the bunch which I also thought would be the opposite. And then theres the NL which I thought was more indica but like you said stretchin like a mofo and the typical thin sativa leaves. Im actually pretty happy about that cuz im more of a sativa guy and the NL is my best looking plant .

I took a couple pics of the Headband but im having some technical difficulties at the moment lol, Ill put them up when I can....frosty awesomeness is building up more and more everyday!


Ill try to take a couple shots of the other girls tonight.

That NL will still give you an indica stone if you let her go a little long, she just has legs like a hooker! I like what I see in a lot of the original #5 crosses ie. NL#5xSkunk#1, NL#5XBBerry (Eastcoastmo just finished up a nice one) and other along the classic lines....seems to take the heels off her shoes a bit!-S0uP
