1st grow, can filter, scrog

Hey RIU tell me what you think.

After about 2 months of pieceing together my growbox, it is finaly to a point that Im happy with for my frist grow. So I thought Id share with the RIUers. It has come along way from vegging under a 42w cfl in a 18"Tx12"Wx24"D cardboard box with a safty blanket for reflections.(altho still being utilized :bigjoint:

)

So heres the new box 32"Tx18"Dx32W roughly 9 sq. ft.

150w Hps 12/12

Sealed box

filtered passive intake

Small DC car fan for circulation

83cfm exhaust fan from radioshack

Can 2600 filter

Chicken wire scrog

FF soil

Simply organic nutes 5.10.5 at 1/4 strength

7 days into flower- unknow bagseed.

Ended up getting lucky and got 2 out of 3 ladies.

pic was taken after training they looked so good today when the light came on. I have at least 30 tops so far.

Awesome glad to have you onboard! Ill take some more pics tonight when the light comes on. they look so nice the day after training.

Ill also try and get an actull "tops" count. i deffinitly think Ill get over an OZ of dry weight. I cant wate to see my gram/watt percentage.

how long do idicas strech durning flowering? Is it roughly 2 weeks or could they continue to strech for a month.? Genetics aside looking for a rought time frame. Also dose virtical growth when budding sets in?...bump

thats going to depend more on the plant it self. indicas tend to stay short

& have close internodes. i have never done a scrog befor but IMO: based

on your light and space i whould ether top all tips, flower then weave the

new growth from the strech to fill in the middle. under your light...or just

fill the screen, top then flower. just some ideas...also very well made

cabby bro. if this is your 1st grow your going to only get better man.

To start off thanks for giving me some feedback.

I did top all of my plants a few weeks back. I only topped the main growth, not any of the side branching.

The screen is pretty full. I was definitly at like 70% full before I flipped to 12/12.

I had to do some major fan leaf maintance lastnight.

(I know everyone has an opinon on pruning, lets not go there it had to happen)

Thanks for the link. I checked that out before. I read the hole thing and I have a post there with a link to this post.

Last but not least thanks for the complament, this is my 1st grow. I cant wait till I start from known genetics and keep a clone army. I have 3 atm and we will see if I can keep this batch alive. Im useing the bagseed as my education :blsmoke:

edit: I counted at least 32 tops lastnight, 20 on #1 and about 12 on #2

this is my first also and i am 5 weeks into and i have a bag seed also. it stopped growing up about 2 .5 weeks into the flower and just has bushed like crazy

Right on, thanks for your experance. Im on my 10th day of 12/12. I just lolliepopped them lastnight. So I have a feeling that some of my smaller tops will be a bit bigger tonight. Or not much will have change do to the carnage that occured lastnight lol.

Ill post a PIC undate tonight, showing the stem and managable screen.
