I'm not gonna really pressure her at all. I just plan to get high a few times and hang around her so she can see that it just makes me a happy/goofy guy. I'm not usually an angry drunk but on those bad days I'll have my moments. I'm almost always a pacifist when I'm high.

She doesn't live with me so I'm good to go there. I'm afraid to bring it up to her because she can be pretty close-minded to a lot of things and I feel like this is definitely one of them.

It's cool man. We're all just in here to chill and discuss our lives, differences, and similarities. It's a fun community here at RIU.

Definitely doesn't know. We have a really open/honest communication policy. Other than this, I think it's safe to say that we have no secrets. If one of us does something that the other doesn't like. We call them out on it right away and discuss it instead of yelling and acting like children. I definitely need to tell her before she finds out... Time to man up ASAP I guess.

Well they're doing pretty well today. I stripped the leaves off that one that I already showed and I stripped the 2 lower leaves off "Droopy" today. They were touching the dirt and we getting discolored (kinda yellowish/brown).

My biggest concern right now is that the roots are starting to come out the bottoms of a few of the cups. They sure are sneaky bastards.

I'll try to get some pics of the family later today. They're looking good and they're starting to smell better every day. I think it's almost time for a carbon filter.

So I have a slight dilemma. My plan is/was to start flowering at around 4 weeks (Day 2. I'm going out of town on the 22nd (Day 26) and I'll be out of town for a few days. I can either put them in a shallow dish of water or I can get those watering bulbs. That's not the issues/questions. My questions are:

Should I start them flowering on Day 26 or wait until I get back? Do they use more water during flowering than during vegging? I assume it would be less but I could be wrong.

Should I veg them longer than 4 weeks? My box is pretty tall (48 inches) and they're still only a few inches tall (tallest one is around 4"). I've heard they get pretty big during flowering though. I plan to LST them each and maybe top one just to compare results. Right now none are showing sex so this is all based on if/when I get females.

Should I transplant them right before I leave for a few days? If their growth gets stunted, I figure they'll use less water and the lights will need little/no adjustment.

What kind of advice can you guys offer up?

I took some pics of some bud that I bought the other day($30/eighth). It gives an initial Indica high followed by a pretty lengthy Sativa high. It's decent I guess. I still want to get pure Indica for the nighttime. I've had trouble sleeping lately and my back has been giving me issues (probably partially related).

yeah i don't like pressure either with me it's 3 times then shut the fuck up (my number one rule when smoking) i'm a fun/goofy guy more so when i smoke then sober but i smoke to relax from a hard days work (caused by scoliosis)

wow 30/8th thats pretty pricey just looking at the bud.. i live in FL and u can get a 1/4 of mids for 35 that have a hella light green color.. basically premature hydro

I usually like to have a beer after a hard day at work. I try to keep my smoking limited to the night time. My train of thought goes right out the window when I smoke and even the simplest tasks like buying groceries takes forever. Gotta build my tolerance back up (had to quit for 8 months due to a job).

Like I was saying, it sucks. $30/eighth is a little less than $10/gram so I was still willing to pay it. Normally you can get some decent stuff around September but right now everyone's crops are harvested and the supply/demand is screwing us over again.

i was hella thinkin the same thing way pricey and i'm paying 40/eighth for highs (not med just really good grade)

Thanks man! One is getting to be a darker green and it's taller than the rest. I hate that they're on a lower light cycle now. I get home and I want to check on them but I know they need their darkness.


So I'm kinda wondering if the ones that are getting some yellow are due to the tinfoil burning them. I'm gonna look around to see if there's Mylar anywhere. If not, I may tear the tinfoil off and/or line it with something white.

Midwest. Not gonna lie, I got pretty ripped last night off this stuff. It doesn't look like much but combined with a few shots and a few beers, it's powerful. I LOVE smoking with people that know what they're doing. Smoked with a friend of a friend and we made the bowl last forever. We each took probably 5 hits and were only halfway around the bowl. I've never smoked with someone else who can corner so well, at least not around here anyway. Got some friends where I grew up and they're pretty skilled.

Here is another pic of the crops. Definitely need a filter soon. They are starting to get a scent to them.

those are looking really good... the back middle one might need a little more light you have a good amount for the others just need more light (lumens) but still looking really good

Those 2 little ones are the ones that got stunted. They got the yellow/brown leaves that I pulled to save the rest of the plant. I'm not sure what their problem is but I rotate them daily.

I just went and picked up a few pots and some coffee filters. As soon as I get a chance to sneak my goods upstairs, I'm gonna take some pics and start transplanting. It's been almost 4 weeks now and these clear cups aren't gonna cut it much longer.

where can i get those swirly CFLs sockets and get the cool white one right? the yellow light emitting ones are no good?

u can get the sockets at walmart for about 1.50/each.. You can either flower with "daylight" cfls and flower with cool whites or do like me and just use cool whites for the entire grow..check my sig for a link to my grow

I just picked them up at a hardware store. I'm using 6500K's for vegging with 1 2700K to get a nice spectrum mix for the plant. When I switch to flowering, I'll be running all 2700K's (probably 4-6 of them depending on temps).

what wattage (actual)did u pick up?

Ya scrapdizle has a point. Wattage is important. Oh and good idea on the daylights with the warms. It really does help, not so much during veg, but flowering its key. Oh and dont let ppl rip ur ass too much about not having enough wattage, cuz i run 2 23watt daylights right on top my (beautiful,thick,lucious) girl. lol Enough said...
