Hola , thanks for takin a min to check out my post. Im currentyly running 23 ---23watt 2700k bulbs over 2 plants . The plants are supposed to be from Humboldt County i dont really know but they look pretty.
Anyways I am at week 5.5 of flowering and a friend of mine on here told me that i sould switch to the HPS for flowering , and that I would see a huge difference in the quality of my buds.
My question is at this stage of flowering will i still see a significant difference in my buds?
This is what they look like now . The first four pics were taken today 2 / 18.
Tell me what you guys think of my first time attempt.

This is just my two cents; From the pics you've got all (?) the CFL's above the canopy?
I would just try and reposition those somewhere around to the sides of the plants, since you can get CFL's so close, and they lose a lot of effectiveness in a short distance. A rule of thumb i heard of is try to have 1 CFL within 2 inches of every part of foliage on a plant.

.... whether it will help the buds i don't know. It won't hurt though, IMO

Also, is that black plastic on the walls???
i would replace that out with either mylar, or put up a white wall. Reflectiveness, it's a good thing!

But all in all, if this is your first attempt, and it's with CFL's, i wouldn't complain at all at how far they've come. Switching anything out will help, yes no doubt. But in all it's not a bad first attempt. Always look at the good in things.

Awesome! Then you're good to go. Rigg the 400w; i would still use a couple of those CFL's to promote side growth, and just for an added punch, but all in all it's not totally necessary.

I think you're good for this grow, at 5.5 weeks. I know you can add molasses and C02 in the (3rd week?) of flowering to thicken up and enrich buds. So if you want to try that, more power to ya.

I wouldn't do anything chemically to try this late, because it (probably) won't take, and you'll get a chemical taste (yuck) in your bud.

But i think you're set, and good job on this grow, and good luck to all your future grows! :weed:
