a single CFL bulb, as small as 23W hang over it in the windowsill can do a different with very little power used, get one in 6500K or atleast 5000k avoid 2700K until flowering, but I guess its outside for good then, keep it at 4 inch`s from the plant top

Ooh yea and be careful not to over water that small seedling, I see no perlite in your grow medium ?, I hope you atleast have some good drain holes in the bottom and let it dry out between waterings

Thanks they seem to be getting on great, there's plenty of drainage in the pots I bought they started off in propaganders then opened the vents started hardening them up they've been put outside and brought in at night I give them a light misting juring the day got quite warm the other day, but so far so good I've 4 in total one has sprouted but no leaves yet think it's just been lazy

Hey DublinGrower83, nice to see another Irish Grower

First off (and off topic) that first pic is awesome, seriously. Just wish it was right way up. my neck doesn't work like that.

The baba's look good, agree with slipon about the light, would make a surprising difference.
Also on the point of perlite i would strongly recommend it, especially for a first time grower.
Makes figuring watering and schedules easier as well as making it more difficult to drown the plants.
It also helps root system development.
Might be worth considering if you repot.

good luck dude.

Hey man,

lil babies are lookin great, be proud!!

The above are right with the perlite! just dont go overboard! most say keep perlite under 1/3 of your soil mix. I follow that and love it!!!

The first pics you posted, I see they are bending to the sunlight. I assume that they were taken when the seedlings were on the window sill??

It would be a good work out for them if you rotate them everytime they make the "bend" to reach the light!! what I mean is one day turn them 180 degrees so they are bending away from the sun, then youll see the next day that they will be bending towards the sun. keep this up and youll have stronf stems that do not have a huge bend in them, of course unless you want them to lean then thats a different story!!!

gl, Ireland, hell yea! Almost studied abroad there, wish I had!

be easy

Don't see why not, anything will do, I see a fellow Irish grower in another thread I hang out in is doing his in a mop bucket. As long as there are drainage holes in the bottom and the pot is thick enough to stop light getting to the roots then anything will do really

Size wize be ok? Looking to transplant them the once then leave it at that, made a light box today for when the sun decides to show up as I don't have any lights yet trying to grow them with natural light, I'm still reading up on indoor grows

I see DG that the height of the pot is a foot high and its maybe 9 inches in width, If you grow a plant to its full size then a slightly bigger pot will get you more bud, it would be OK to veg it right up in that pot and then when you switch it into flower look for one around a foot wide or even better around 15 inches deep and 15 inches wide.

I would hold off on the transplant for a bit, you want the roots to develop a bit more. Someone else may be able tell you what signs to look for as I use clones since they are cheaper to get here than seeds and I dont need to worry about germination/sexing.
