how do u knoe when it is ready to harvest??

2 things //////////

1) its when the white hairs go 50/50 white and amber
2) around the flowering time

alright cool..that clears it up...so when it turns all amber..u r too late??

lol im not sure but on my last i tryed to over do it alittle and ...the first one was the best smoke .....
but yh 50/50 white / amber PEAK FLOWERING TIME>...!!!

I am thinking about giving it a week or two unless anybody else thinks I should go longer. 50% of my trichomes are milky looking. The rest are mostly clear. I've seen a few amber looking trichs already.

Damn so total flower is about 2.5 monthes right?

Sounds about right..... I will probably flush in a week's time. It's been a long grow. I started the grow on March 1st.

It depends i allways do 4-5 weeks vegg no matter what ...that normally and flowering time is like to be around 6-8 weeks so ..

Does it look like she's going hermie? The calyxes look swollen on the main cola but they burst open with pistils.

I think Its too late to really turn hermie.

When the first signs of hairs turn amber it means the plant is ripening. At this point it you can harvest and it will give more of an energetic high. If you let it ripen fully the thc content is higher and it gives a more narcotic high. If you can afford to sit around on the couch all day and smoke yourself stupid definately wait for 50/50 or higher

Okay, I may be getting paranoid but a guy has stopped by my house 2 days in a row. He was wearing an untucked polo, cargo shorts, nike tennis shoes , 6ft tall, brown gelled hair, and age range 21-30. He got into a red mitsubishi lancer with another states license plate which was 20 feet from my house out of clear view. He stayed about a minute or so. I did not answer the door either time. It looked like he had white papers in his right back pocket. He knocked first and stood about 3 ft from the door. Rang the bell the second time and stood 3 ft. back. It's possible it could have been a door to door sales guy. I am 60 days in, should I chop tonight or wait? I am really getting myself worked up over this. Please, I need advice!!!

I think your ok. Does it smell outside your house? Thats pretty shady though, gelled hair, was it all slicked back and creepy like? lol jk man I wouldnt worry too much about him I'm sure it was a salesman. If the cops knew about your grow I'm sure you wouldnt be talking to us right now. Go smoke a bong rip and chill out ur girls are fine.\

I've been trying to relax but I just have that nervous gut feeling. No, it doesn't smell outside my house at all. Maybe a hint of cow manure from outlying farmland. He had short gelled hair maybe some spikes but nothing too crazy. A little too clean cut in my opinion. I didn't know the person so I didn't open the door. I'd love to smoke right now but sometimes it makes me even more paranoid. If he comes back again today something is up. I left a few smelly treats for him around outside. lol

Well the guy didn't come back but I am going to chop my girls tonight. They are ready anyways. I don't want to risk having them around anymore.

So I finally just decided to cut my ladies and here they are.

Niiiiccccccceeeeeee!!!!!!!!!! That's about 2 onions (ounces), how are you going to cure it. I was thinking about going with the water harvest/cure, but that seems like so much shit could go wrong and with being my only plant I don't have any room for error. I would probably image that you are doing the hang and dry method? If you are let me know if it gets really smelly/skunky cause that's the only reason I'm considering the water cure method. I live in a apt and the smell hasn't been bad, but I know the smell intesifies during harvest/cure. Looks great man, you should quick dry about 3 grams (paper bag and throw in freezer) to see how the smoke is. Late
