1WeekAwayFromFlwer

Back for an UPDATE.
Plants Still strong and healthy , Sturdy as a cock. Short and hella budsites and amazingly Healthy leaves. But im a week n 2 days away from Flowering, and was wondering about Defoliating 2 days before going into FLW. and WHICH LEAFS should I remove for the new growth under to catch up to the rest of the canopy? should I tie the side branches down for more light access towards the Middle?

For defoliating, take the big leaves that have branches behind them. I like to wait until a brach has 2 nodes before taking its leaf. Does that make sense? Defoliating before flower will shorten the stretch.

About tying down, tie down enough to cover your floor space. Theres no need for tall plants indoors, unless you're growing vertical; it'd be a waste of grow time. Grow horizontally.

so would it B fine to tie down all angles of the plant from a fan leaf just for a couple days *2-3* just for the middle 2 get enough light then back horizontal.. And also i should Defoliate after a week of Flower?

Tie them down and leave them down. All grow sites that receive light will be a cola. And then, if you'd like, or have space, tie down all branches that come up. A lot of the flower stretch happens in the fists 2 weeks. I run Scrog, and would keep tying for those 2 weeks and then let the plant fill out for the 3rd.

Defoliating in flower, wait till say 21

Right. So with defoliation, you lose a small amount of yield, but your lower nugs will be bigger. The leaves will grow back in a week or 2. But dont defoliate after week 4 of 12/12. By then, the plant will stop making leaves ( or just not as much). I've made the mistake of defoliating at day 42 (6 weeks) and the yield suffered. Didn't do a side by side, but I the leaves barely came back at all and seemed to take forever to finish.

Not defoliating, you just need to make sure most everything is in the light.

I remove inner leaf and any leaf totally blocking bud sites. The more u remove though, the more shock it is to the plant. It will increase the extreme wait we all have. Just be sensible as you go. You want good air circulation and light penetration to all bud sites.
