I actually just was to high to math and need to research the voltages before I speak on the driver division or what the minimum wattage for each strip are.

I'd like to use

6 strips on each one. Running around 700ish ma
No worries, I read what guys post around here but haven’t ventured into led yet. I am looking to add some uv to my flowering so I grabbed enough to run a couple narrow light bars one each side. Just a idea, dont even know if they offer UV, cheap enough to grab some for later. Grabbed enough to do 10 a side on a 1x5 bar with like 10 strips a bar. My room is about 6x7 and I run the canopy around 5.5 x 5.5. 1k de and I add in a 600 mh in flower for 1600w. Another after though, can use to make something with some other k strips as well and some reds. Feel would regret not grabbing some at the price anyways, thanks for the link OP.

I bought 50. I would have bought more, but had already bought 100 H-Series strips. I've made a few 4000K F-Series frames already and they work really well as veg and seedling lights. I'll probably work something out with @Grow Lights Australia to see if we can come up with something to put on his site. A lot of people just want to buy plug-and-play these days, but with cheap strips, a bit of ally and a bit of labour we can probably come up with some decent frames for a 2'x2' at a reasonable price.

Got them yesterday
What I need to know is what else do I need to make a light myself? or are these strips even for that? Not really into the DIY but I can be if it gets me better quality for peanuts in return. Just looking for help/guidance on this here. It's a whole new ball game for me personally.

Ok folks for anyone in Europe just want to clarify.

I just bought 20x , free world wide shipping, $8 tax, apparently customs fees already paid.

cost $47.96 total. (£36)

I assumed I would get stung with import duty or big shipping fees but it seems not.
they ship with ddp incoterms, as do digikey and mouser

Sounds like a plan. Hit me up when you get them, I'm sure we can work something out.

This is a deal of lifetime. I bought 4 originally, just got another 8 additionally. Wonder why the price is so low on arrow.
You can probably supplement with 2700k and get he full spectrum. You can pretty much cover whole warehouse with 20 of these and some driver. 2 of these covers 2x2.

Standard business practices. Arrow doesnt manufacture these strips, they are wholesalers. Once they are out of stock you will see one of two things happen, either the price will go up drastically per strip again, or the minimum purchase number will be higher than their break even cost to order a manufacturing run from samsung. They already paid their cost to make those strips and if they are sitting in a warehouse taking up space but not selling the price gets dropped to make more warehouse space for inventory that is moving.

The difference between a successful wholesaler and not is managing their warehouse space. Deals like this will always happen on last years tech.

Makes sense. Never seems this much drastic price drop before.

Second time in the last month ive seen it on f-series, and on H- series same thing on both 3k and 4k color temps. Both are of the same Diode 561c, because 301b/h is the new flavor of the month.

It will probably happen again at some point but who knows. There are so many variants between length, color temp and series. Plus theres also bridgelux strips which are fantastic too. Just dont hesitate when you see the deal you want, they never last long.

Side note between this thread and the H-series deal thread i started theres been 1800 H series sold (all they had out of stock now) and over 2000 F series in like a week. I almost regret posting it because i should have bought some more while i could, haha.
I haven't been on RIU in years and luckily stumbled upon this post. I picked up 64 of them two days ago and the trays got here today. I'm in the US so tariff almost doubled the price but still cheaper than alternatives. Just wanted to say thanks for the post.
