About as good an idea as 2 girls and 1 cup.

If one gets infected or hermies, both are toast. Also, they need their individual root space so unless your 1 pot is outdoors and is an actual planter where they can be feet part, do 1 plant per pot.

Agreed.. If in the same pot plants will fight for nutrients

You could get away with it (maybe) if they were clones1. But... there's not a single good reason for doing so and every reason not to.

1-There is emerging evidence that plants recognize immediate family members and will share resources when necessary. Otherwise they fight each other. Still, better not to have to share.

it will work if the pot is really big. some people use baby pools and plant plants in them. I have done it once for the shit shake of it 1 plant dyed lack of water the other was happy.

I did so just because of lack of space and didn't really care as they were bag seed

I placed them outside in the pots last year in late July with the pots about six inches in the ground to hold it stable

the two plants together did great, they actually did so well when it came harvest time I had to regenerate the two of them and they stayed in the same pots up until 2 weeks ago when I transplanted them into a bigger container ( both are still doing quite well ) in preparation to reel per them as I now have clones to keep :)

But still if you can I would recommend to steer. Steer clear of potting them together as my plants would of done even better separated

I had a neighbor who was like 50 when I was 15.
Really cool guy, very old timer.

He was growing 5 plants in a butter bucket.
He put soil from a local park in a butter bucket, took some shitty reggie seeds he had for years, put it on a fire escape with little to no direct light.
I swear almost a year later, they were all alive, but they looked like shit. Each plant was under 7 inches and had like 4 little calyxes of bud on each plant.
Funniest thing I ever saw.
