Hey guys

I am currently growing a northern light auto from sensi seeds
I am getting in the harvest window on the top buds, however i am still noticing alot of white pistils on the lower buds that dont recieve as much light.
From researching online, i see its possible to harvest the mature buds earlier.
Has any one had experience doing this? How to go about the flushing when doing this?

appreciate the advice :)

I chopped the top half of my last grow & let the lowers finish. Don’t worry about flushing. If the top is entering the window now, by the time they are ripe, the lowers should have developed further. I didn’t have any issues with what was left on the plants AFTER chopping the tops & lowering my light accordingly. 2 weeks later they were all set.

Appreciate the feedback!
So no flushing ? Just continue to feed as normal?
I see it is also advised to cut off one bud a day so the plant doesnt get stressed too much. Have you been removing all buds or just one or 2 a day?

thanks!

No.. feed till harvest. If you were given 2 weeks till your death, would you stop eating? Flushing is for toilets. I have never fresh water fed any plant that I've had, unless i've had to do a hard PH correction. Otherwise, feed at 1000ppm on clones till flip, then increase to 1400ppm till late flower , then bring CO2, feed, and light down till harvest.

I took off anything up too that was ready. Not really worried if a nanner or 2 wants to pop up when they are gonna get chopped within 2 weeks anyways. I have seen nanners days after clipping the tops, but nothing to worry about.
No sense in flushing. The plant needs nutrition to push forward.
