Hi guys just a quick few questions, What are your opinions on the dual spectrum CFLs, (http://www.basementlighting.com/graphics/giant_125w_hanger_dual.jpg) Im actually looking into a 200w though however. I was wondering is one 200w dual spectrum cfl ok for both vegging and flowering one plant? I will have white emulsion (think this is what you guys from the us call "flat white paint"? Correct me if im wrong!) on walls and a homemade reflector. Any other little tips you could suggest for me to consider would be appreciated. Thanks :)

yeah youll be able to flower with that, results would be better with more light, but you can do it.

hey i got 2 23W CFL bulb's 1600 lumen's each, equilavent to a 100W bulb per bulb so together they would be 3600 Lumen's. I'm just using it for 1 plant and the bulb's are natural sunlight will that be enough just for 1 plant for both veg and flowering?

general rule of thumb is 100w per plant. minimum.

Yeah I thought so seen a lot of set ups with side lighting with CFL's, Another question mate sorry, As you could probably guess im on a low budget! Would you say 2-3 26W bulbs be sufficient?

From what ive learnt mate and im sure someone will back me up here, Never take into account the "equivalent to a 123W bulb" You're after the ACTUAL wattage.

yeah you want daylight(6500k)(blue end of the spectrum) for vegging and soft white(2700k)(red end of the spectrum) for flowering.
