I've just been spraying every 10 days now. But I'm spraying. I'm not going to have any nasty surprises on harvest.

The leaf rollers i'm not worried about...I only see like one a week and most of the time it hasn't done any damage (if it has its very little). The mite damage isn't really getting worse either (I see maybe 1 or 2 leaves with new mite damage a week). I am just really reluctant to spay any pestasides on my plant unless the problem gets worse then what it is now. I have them already (7 dust) , so i'm ready if I need to.

Will be posting an update sometime today.:leaf:

This weeks update Week 12

This weeks weather has been perfect, 70s mid 80s and at night mid 60s to 70s. Got a good rain mid week. Everything is just rolling along great, no problems this week. Been foliar feeding everyday this week. The yellowing hasn't gone away, so i'm thinking its just normal for being outdoors and starting to flower (for that strain).

It is best to spray before you see alot of damage, because by the time you see all that damage they have already multiplied and started taking over your garden before you even could detect them doing it......Spider mites especially love to take over in flowering.

I just picked up some Ortho Elementals garden insect killer. It is BI and kills mites, whiteflies, aphids, and all stages of them plus eggs. Once a week or so, should keep them at bay.

Yeah. once a week should be good. Be careful, spider mites tend to build immunities to pesticides........It is always good to switch it up on them and confuse them.

Definitely subscribed to this thread. Keep up the good work dude. Fresno will always steer you in the right direction. So will Laney. They've given me plenty of valuable knowledge. This year is my first outdoor grow too. I probably won't be of much help in the advice department, but keep up the weed porn. That I like. Lol. You got a nice crop going on. Wish you knew what strains they were. I'm of no help their either. Though I will guess that your skunky one might be G13. Idk though. Mine have been skunky since they were little tikes. Now that they're well into flowering, my inlaws' property smells like a skunk den.

Thanks Ndodson for subscribing I will definitely keep the pics commin. Fresno and Laney have been a big help and always value their opinion. I really wish I knew what strain they were too. A little back story on my 6 footer...her seeds came from my 1st grow ever <--- profile pic is of my first grow. I got them from a friend that said they were a good strain (but never told me what it was). I grew that same strain on my 2nd grow, then after harvest I re-vegged her (leaving some lower buds on her and put her back into 18/6), so this is like my 4th grow but 1st one outdoors. Whatever strain she is its a VERY good one and i'm lucky to have her. Sad thing is i'm not sure how many of her seeds I have left. I got them all mixed together with the nug-bag seeds (70$-100$ Qs find one seed) I had been saving..so now I have no idea .
I have been extremely lucky, out of all 3 grows I have only had 1 male (that's how I got more of her seeds...and yes i'm bragging:fire:).

So this thread is really multipurpose. I use it to keep a weekly photo log mainly (but also share it with everyone), I know what i'm doing, but I like to bounce ideas and stuff off others just to double check myself. I also want this to be a good thread for newbie's, able to see what i'm doing to fix what problems come up during flowering. Lastly this is kind of a gift to my brother who has never seen a grow before and lives far away. When i'm finished he will be able to relive it, like he was here with me the whole time. Stay tuned because this thread will be going all the way through Flowering, Harvest, Drying & Curing. :leaf:

So I looked up some info on G13 cross strain. What i'm reading blows my mind and makes me all tingly inside just thinking that it could be it. There are no more original G13 strains...only hybrids cross. If anyone else wants to take a guess at what they might be just post a name and ill go look up some info on them and compare it to my growing log.

G13 Haze (my 6 footer)
G13 Haze is the product of two very sought after strains. The G13 is an almost mythical strain supposedly bred in a US Government laboratory as the most powerful indica in the world.

Its fun to think about, but it doesn't really look like mine.

A little more info.

G13 Haze is indeed one of the strongest varieties in the international cannabis market. G13 Haze is a mostly sativa hybrid of a legendary G13 and an Original Haze. Feminized cannabis seeds of this strain show typically sativa growing characteristics; they develop into tall straight plants with a strong branching system supported by a thin sturdy stem. What makes her unique amongst any other sativa dominated hybrids is her really short and quick flowering, it takes just 8 weeks. Some cannabis growers choose to leave her for another week or two for the best result. Already at the beginning of flowering, a very nice smell of ripe fruits and earth appears and remains throughout maturing. Feminized seeds of G13 Haze were designed specially for indoor and outdoor cultivation. Outdoor plants can reach as much as 2-3 m tall, while indoor ones won't make it higher than 120 cm. This ability makes her perfect for space restricted cannabis gardens. When grown indoors, G13 Haze performs excellent in all sorts of growing set ups, pots and/or hydroponics. Wherever you grow your Haze, she develops amazing bud density with high levels of resin. THC content is said to be as high as 18+%. This cross produces great yields - the average 450 gr. per m2 under optimum conditions is guaranteed. The first harvest starts at the end of September/beginning of October. All sativa dominant marijuana strains contain less CBD and more THC counts; it makes their high clear headed and energizing. G13 Haze is not an exception; her very uplifting and still retaining the heavy hitting indica undertones effect is definitely her best characteristic.

You could be on to something Ndodson. The strain I have has always responded well no matter what I did..inside, outside and re-veg. Its this ^ or a type of skunk.

I don't know about their not being anymore original G13s around. Then again, I just might be lucky. My cousin has been keeping this strain going consistently for the past 10 years from clone. He's got a perpetual harvest set up. If there really isn't anymore original G13s going around, then I got the hook-up. Lol. And this shit will put you on couch-lock everytime. 2 or 3 hits will give you the ability to move around. But barely. Anymore than that, and you're literally not doing anything for a long time. I just went and mowed my cousin's yard yesterday, and we didn't smoke til after it was done. Cause he knows that if I get high, his lawn won't get mowed. And climbing the stairs to my apartment was a bitch! Lol.....But, you may have a nice hybrid going on. Or a really good member of the skunk family. Either way, it sounds like you got a really nice strain going on. Clone it and keep it going for as long as you can. You will thank yourself. But if you pollinated it with a male of a different strain, it may not be. There's so many different factors involved in that equation.

When it was pollinated it was from a male of the same strain.

Nice pic updates. Well, if it's pollinated from a male of the same strain, it could be. Your leaves have more of a sativa look. Mine are all indica. I will post a pic in a minute to show you for comparison purposes. I gotta wait for the wife to give the phone back. Lol. Mine also have purpling going on on the leaf stems. Think it's from the colder nights we've been getting though, as I hear that can be a cause. Or maybe it's just the phenotype I have. My cousin says he has both of the original pheno's of G13 which are the regular pheno (no purpling) and the purple pheno. No clue though. As soon as I get the pics, I will post them and you can see for yourself.

Ok, here we go. A few pics for comparison...

I don't know if you can see any of the leaf stems that are purple or not. My laptop is being a dick and won't upload pics that well. And it's a new laptop. POS. Lol.

The leafs of the 2 smaller ones have a lot more sativa in them. The one that may/may not be a G13 hybrid has larger leaves. alts 011.jpg

You might want to do a little research of your own on G13 strains. There's a lot of misinformation that goes around about it.

A lot of mine have purple leaf stems and some are developing pink stigma. In some years, when they are subjected to light frost, they can get lovely fall colors :weed:

Yeah, I did a lot of Googling on the strain G13, just not on the hybrid strains that are out there. And my cousin is a straight-shooter, so I take his word that it's G13. But I would love to get my hands on some of those G13 crosses. I hear they can cause couch-lock. My kind of shit. Lol. There's a thread around here somewhere I saw where some guy is growing some and the buds are pink! That's some pretty buds.

Please don't take this the wrong way Ndodson. I'm sure you and your cus are chill azz people, but I SERIOUSLY doubt he has an original G13 strain (without any cross in it). NO SEED BANK IN THE ENTIRE WORLD has one...but your cousin does. Sorry but that pill is just a bit to big to swallow my friend. Lets just say he does have an ORIGINAL G13 (no cross) He could sell just a hand full of seeds to almost any seed bank and be set for life. You also said that he has been growing it for 10 years? That would make it around 2002 when he started...the original strain wasn't even available in 1990...does your cousin have a time machine?

I'm sorry if i'm coming off harsh, but what your asking me to believe is so unlikely..unless you have proof then me nor anyone else will believe you. Please prove me wrong...make me eat my words.

Nothing but love bro. *Passes the :joint:*
