Dude right? I mean, it's hard to walk out of a club frustrated with a purchase since you can choose yourself, but it's so fricken hard to find real strains and get out of the tedium of reused, boring strains. I moved here from the Midwest and out there, weed that was imported from the west coast was done for one of two reasons:1. It was cheap and bulk, 2, it was something really special and potent. I might have been ripped off sometimes but the other half of the time the strains knocked my socks off. I almost feel it was easier to learn the differences between taste and smell out there because with such diversity, the differences stood out.
Yield isn't outstanding from what I've seen (just grow journals and a friend who's garden I saw a few times) but when it's the real deal it doesn't even matter its so strong and quality. I'd suggest giving them an extra week to let their roots grow a bit, I heard it is particularly beneficial for that cut, but ONLY if you're going to do some training. They do get a bit lanky if you don't have some solid lighting on them.
Question about the real green crack, is that one one that is SUPER uniform, like very similarly sized nugs with BRIGHT orange hairs? Almost everytime I've gotten green crack and its been exemplary it was lime green was a mass of super bright orange hairs, is that about right? That's a cut I'd like to find.
Amazing how often common sense can get you what you want haha. Excellent advice and i always look out for strains I don't recognize, another reason why I haven't gotten into og's too much. It seems alot of bigger clone clubs don't sell flowers, at least ones I've looked from positive reviews. But again, seems so many only have the popular demand stuff. What happened to the smaller yielding highly potent and exotic strains? I mean, for example purple kush is supposed to smell and taste KUSHY with the grape candy flavor yet the purple kush around here is always kinda mid grade. Always real dark too whereas the highest quality kushs I've found to be lighter with the exception of mango kush which was dark and gnarly formed bud, kinda like LA confidential. Don't mind driving, again, but really need to find some recommended places to get clones. I've been a longtime lurker and reader and I realize now after being in LA a year that I'm gonna need some insider info to find where the gems are. I'd be asking for quality hazes on here too except they'd just end up being jack crosses haha. Blackberry kush is the one I'm most hopeful to find the kush pheno of. The famous Pure Kush is seeming impossible to find a top tier and legitimate clone/medicine form of.
Man how do they pop up in clean grow rooms? Is there anything you can do to ensure they can't possibly pop up if you quarantine well? I've heard good things about sweet tooth, any info you can give on hunting down the real pure kush?
