I dried my plants in sections still attached to main stalk or large limbs in my basement, and cured the majority of them in large totes.

I have not had time to take all of my plants down from the hanging lines.

My best bud almost exclusively both smoke & terpene/smell/taste wise has in fact been the bud from my still hanging plants(hanging for months). Just had to throw them in a jar with humidity packs to hydrate a little. Go figure!

I know it’s a long ways off but I’m excited to give it a go outdoors in 2021. Moving to a new home on the cape next month. I’ll finally have a yard! Veggie garden, chicken coop eventually, and a few plants.

I’ve got some research to do. Can anybody recommend a good hearty strain for a noobish grower, first time outdoors? Preferably something leaning indica. Would autos be a good choice? Thanks for any input. Ive been lurking on this thread a while. Great stuff

I’m on the mainland side just before the bridges, so similar coastal climate. You’ll want something that is either very mold resistant or that finishes early, as September and October are typically rainy and foggy just at the wrong time. And keep hitting them with B.t. right through flowering to zap the bud-wrecking caterpillars.

welcome @G Bear ... look into Big Pond Genetics ... he's out of western mass and he's breeding with a lot of thug pug's gear ... his first drop sold out quickly on most sites, but there's a restock dropping this week on Harvest Mutual (a massachusetts seed bank) as well as Terpy Seeds ... his first drop was $60/pack, but it's gone up to $80 now... still a great value though

You may also want to look into Shoreline ... it does well in humid environments, like we have here in Mass (especially on cape) ... Shoreline is a clone only strain from Texas but there's a breeder @shorelineOG that's been working the line for a while now... I think he's brought it out to BX2, but I'm growing the BX version ... there's also a huge thread here on RIU with tons of info on his strains.. definitely worth checking out ... I order directly from him, but it's available on a few of the seed banks i believe

I have done a little research as to what strains will be good for me in coastal MA. I want to be ready for next outdoor season. After some research the two most recommended were LSD and MOB. I am thinking about the MOB. Does anyone have any input on these strains, or any other strains good for...

I hear their is this ass hole who is going to be dropping his gear soon from the Cape i'll drop a line if i can remember his name the one problem is i hear he's a dick head :rolleyes:

Well maybe one day i will be able to rub shoulders with the likes of you and be able to get a hold of some exclusive gear to work with maybe one day i'll decide that i want to grow mids too.
