Picking up some 16" saucers from ace hardware tomorrow,
I'll be sure to grab electric tape and stakes during that trip. Thanks

I haven't included the items I've picked up locally but I do have some of the items listed on the bottom of your list.

It's on other web sites, besides cannabis, says to let sit for 24 hours or boil water for 15 minutes or it will harm soils micronutrients? Hey I'd love this to be wrong. I'm trying living soil and it's hard work.
Trust me. It affects the microbial life in the very top at most. I grow full time using water from the municipal system of Fairbanks AK. Use humic acid like Superthrive to feed microbes. Molasses is a second choice. They do not use sugar. They use the humic acid in the molasses.

“I bought this product after seeing the PAR chart which shows the Mars Hydro SP300 exceeding light output of a 450 watt competing light (I own that light too)
I was initially skeptical on how a 300 watt light could exceed performance on a 450 watt light. My worries proved true. Turned up to full power this 300 watt light isn’t nearly as bright as the 450 watt
The light has maybe 2 x 4 footprint whereas the 450 watt light is closer to 3 x 4. Because of this most plants on this side of the 4x8 are flowering under 18 hours of light. The plants on the side with the 450w are healthier, more vigorous and still in vegetative growth. This light purchase will end up costing me about 250 grams or $2000 in lost harvest weight
My 450 watt led was $150 less. The cheaper light seems to outperform the SP300 by a large margin. I feel like the more expensive 6500 model might be nice, this one can only be used as supplemental lighting
There were also some quirky manufacturers issues to point out which I have attached pics of. There is a couple feet of cord between the driver and switch that I don’t understand. It’s almost like you could remove the driver and mount external to tent. There is no indication in manual why it would be there so I just taped the extra couple feet of cord to the ceiling of the tent.
Also, the mounting brackets are super cheap and do not have holes, you wedge the cheap bracket in to the heat sink. To me I was shocked. This isn’t secure at all, someone could barely bump the light and it would risk falling to the ground
It would make more sense to add a bracket with holes on the outside of the driver and switch. Then the light would be sturdy
I will be trying this light for a dark spot in my high pressure sodium room, might end up returning, still have 30 days to decide”

for someone who has never grown before thats some review of your light hotshot. im really impressed. we have an on going issue on the RIU forum concerning the age old question "how much do you think" regarding the weight of a finished grow (that hasnt even been cut down yet). now i just read part of your review on "costing me about 250 grams or $2000 in lost harvest weight". whenever the question arises again regarding "how much do you think" maybe you could help the people out. there doesnt seem to be too many people on here that can guessimate like that. just a thought. first grow my bollox lmao

This is awkward.... So if you go back to where I originally posted that comment it's a copy and paste from Amazon(which I noted in green and also put the review in quotations). I have absolutely no reason to fake being a newbie grower.
