Last week inside for these happy girls.

Cloned then around a month ago from tiny branches and man they're doing good. Really happy with my first time cloning. 50 percent success rate with prop and dome I def overwatered at first but oh well.

The smaller ones on the bottom are the random cali connect 22 I grabbed.

They are starting to grow agaisnt the wall running out of room lol.

***Far or some reason the fan leaves grow one at a time like ones smaller than the other in growth on the new sets till they mature lol.

Is this a clone trait?
Also I can't believe how big the fan leaves have gotten, kinda over shadowing the new growth...but have decided to leave them since they're going out.

Thoughts?

Hey Erie, they look great, the growth pattern is likely strain specific, they look healthy and a good size, should be a nice grow :)

Hey thanks gro never thought of that good point!

Unforuntatly some got lost in the crowd lol! Two in party cups I forgot about and one in a smaller one gallon bucket.

Most are in a bigger pot not sure what size tho, maybe three?

Altogether the bigger ones are going thru about 8 - 16 litres every two days, probably cas it's hot as shit in there?

The MH seems to put off aretarded amount ofheat and doesn't penetrate the canopy well.

***Would a hps be cooler? Are there any cooler running options for a digital ballast ?(400 watt interchangeable MH/HPS)?

They havnt been watered for like two weeks up until yesterday when I pulled them out from under the foliage lol.

Poor gaffers couldn't keep up

Yeah, the heat coming off your lamp will dry them out quick, a bit more work but if you're planting them outside in a week it's probably not worth re-potting until you're transferring them outdoor. I've stayed away from regular MH/HPS due to the heat, I've never used them but my son has grown with them for a few years and I know what kind of heat they throw off. Don't think there's really any advantage heat-wise between MH and HPS though. Too bad about those little guys getting lost in the jungle, but not a bad thing I suppose (getting lost because the others grew so large) - lol For the heat, although I wouldn't recommend anything but higher end or DIY LED's for flowering, the low end LG reflector panels I've been using for about a year are fantastic at vegging, they're cheap and you can probably recover the cost in 1-2 grows by using them to veg (only veg, they suck at flowering) Good luck...

Good to know, I have been looking into leds but they seem really expensive, what would be good tho is that I couldplace fixtures on the sides so I wouldn't just have a topdown penetration. Also cheaper electricity.

Just gotta sell theold gearor use it until I can afford new gear.

It really does suck only having asingle light source.

Also just want to mention:

I used kelp concentrate spray on the clones from week one of being rooted, and I have to say it's a great supplement.

Foliar sprayed them everyother day and they loved it. Apparently there's growth hormones and auxins in it and I believe it because the leaves would come up land become ridgid after the next day andthey grew three times as fast as their untreated mothers.
