24? what? get rid of the MH, you dont use that spectrum to flower.
don't get rid of the mh, im sure you know better already. but for fureelz sake, plants do use the spectrum in a mh for flowering, they just do better under more red spectrum. but hps lacks the lighter spectrum and plants use that also, even during flowering. if plants didn't use mh for flowering noone would be able to flower under mh, and some people do.
i am combing both spectrums in my garden right now and I expect great results.
my next grow will use 3 600w ballasts with Hort's Super Blue bulb.
600w super hps and 400w super mh in one bulb.
expensive but promising.
