250 Watt HPS AUTO AK47 Grow Journal PICS!!

Things are coming along pretty nicely for the autos and the Blue Widow. The OG is honestly one of the dankest I've ever seen.

Autos are 27 days old - been flowering for 8 days and are on Full FF nutes. Snow Storm is going to be added starting Monday.

Blue Widow has really starting to growing fast at like 1.5 inches a day. It is also on full nutes and will begin Snow Storm with next watering. Started flowering yesterday and already has pistils coming out. We are real excited about this one! It has been moved to the 12-12 tent.

The OG is 3.5 weeks into flowering and is stanky - sticky - getting full of buds - and insanely dank. Full nutes and Snow Storm.

Thanks dude - Yeah I'm cloning it for sure and never losing these genetics! Plus it cuts down on my seed costs.

HOLY SHIT they are looking so meaty and healthy Ur auto's are HUGE for 27 days man nice1!
Hope you dont minda couple of questions bud..
How far are you keeping the 250 from them?
My la diva's are coming along well thought id show u some pics of them cos you mentioned that was ur next target! lol would appreciate it if you could have a gander at them for us n tell me what you think!

Thanks man - yeah, these plants seem to love the 250 and are starting to really bud up now. Pictures tomorrow...

For the light - I started it at like 18 inches...you dont want it too harsh too quick for the babies. Then i lowered it every few days (with watering) as low as i could go without the temp getting too high. The lowest it went was maybe 12 inches above. Now that they are taller (21"!!) i have the light 24 off the top of the plants so light can penetrate the entire canopy and reach the side bud arms. The 300 watt CFL's are much lower as they put off no heat. I run the CFL's during the entire grow because they add a different spectrum and more lumens = more bud. They also can be lowered below the main canopy and will actually start new bud sites and increase the lower growth.

Ahh this would maybe explain why mine have grown bushy more than tall, i have the light at 8-10 inches so maybe i should have it higher.
I would like to work with cfl's however this is the only other grow i plan to do for a while :sad:

The autos have the first 4 pics. They have been flowering now for 13 days. The buds aren't very big obviously, but they are abundant, so I am pretty excited to see how many long buds we can get. They have been watered with Full FF Nutes and Snow Storm. The 3 plants are 23, 21, and 18 inches tall.

The Blue Widow has the next 2 pics. It has been flowering now for only 5 days. (same Watering treatment)

The OG Kush has the next 5 pics. Just enjoy those

Everything looks like its going ok in your grow. I would maybe raise the soil level to just under the top of the rim so the the entire plant is getting either direct light or light from the reflector. In your case, i dont think the first few inches under the "canopy" are getting max light. (take the plant and soil out whole, add soil, put back in) Look at my day 14 pics and see how yours are comparing...

i advise you just go get a flange kit for the hps....i tried this method of getting heat out and it is no where as efficient as a 20 dollar flange kit

WOW man so jealous of ur grow! lol looking so good man fair play keep it up, i sorted that (soil) by just cutting the excess of the pots off, i know i would have had more root space if i did what u said but i just dont feel safe bringing each plant out along with soil (im a clumsey twat!) probs end up killing them somehow, literally did it about an hour before looking at ur thread as it happens!
Will show u a pic as soon as i get hold of the camera.
Sorry to invade ur thread here matey but do you think il be safe to give these 1/4 mix bat guano now? Hairs are coming through.

Sorry it took a few days, Yeah i would start them in on the Guano at like .25 strength and work your way up with each watering. Just look at the leaves' tips and the lower leaves to see early signs of burn, nute lock, or ph problems. If anything happens, just water without until its diagnosed. pics of your ladies?

Ok then man thanks for the advise i have given them all 1 dose each, they all seem to have taken well to it i will be posting pics later today when the lights off. Day 20 now.

3.5 to 5 weeks left on the Autos. One of the plants had some PH problems, but that has been adjusted and it should bounce back a little. The buds are getting bigger and most importantly those crystals are coming on.

The Blue Widow is flowering kind of slow, but we moved it under the most direct sunlight as the OG was taking up a lot of room. Real healthy and green looking plant though.

The OG is dank as ever - few weeks left in flowering and we will start the flush in approx. a week or so and finish her on out. Cant Wait To Smoke This!!!

Yours are looking great dude. They will get between 17 and 24 inches give or take.

18-6, some think this will make a little denser buds than 20-4 for the whole life, so we are seeing if it makes a difference.
