29 grams dried Lowryder2 from ome plant

The 29 grams are with no stems an trimmed then water cured which reduces the weight by about 15% from what I have read. This is my best yield yet, but I have one growing that looks better. I grow in a well ventilated dresser sized cabinet with 250watt HPS in soil. Just wanted to see how much more I can expect when I master this strain. I say that because each grow has gotten better for me. I welcome any credible bragging on lowryder2 yields so I can know what to shoot for.

I know there alot of Lowryder growers out there with more experience than me.

I got approx. 49 grams off of my lowryder 2 grow last month. I was using foxfarm soil, foxfarm nutes, molasses, and a 600w hps. I also start the seed in a 3gal pot right after germination. The larger pots allow for bigger root growth which means bigger plant. I don't know how much you can get out of a lowryder I just know my largest yield was 49g. I grow in a homebox l. I am going to try and get a larger yield next time I grow lr2.bongsmilie

49 grams rocks! I would be surprised if my current plant gets near that. I'm hoping for around 40grams using 250Watt HPS.

No pics until the forum can upload iPhone pics and I have not figured out how to do that yet.

Was the grow a true 60 day seed to harvest? I am in week 3 of mine. I have them under t-5 grow lights. When I see flowering , do I continue 18/6 or go to 12/12 and hps.? Thanks

Just harvested a monster at 80 days. wet weight after a close trim was 396grams. I can't believe it!!! I water cured for 1 day so it is not so stinky as it hangs to dry.

Can't do pics from my iPhone. I read they are tagged with GPS data. When I subtract 10 grams for stems and then consider 80% drop in weight dries it will yield about 70-80 grams! This is only 0.3 gm per watt so I can still do better if I employ some low stress training next grow and get those lower nuggets to tighten up.

i will try to post pics. this is almost dried buds off the one Lowryder2 plant. I think I have nailed how to grow a big one after about 5 grows. I started using nute when they showed sex and the bottom fan leaves started to yellow. I used Floro Nova hydro nutes at 1/4 strength to begin with and jacked it up in later growth. The water was Ph'd, but I think the key to a big lowryder is the lights I ran mine 24/7 for the first month because it was so cold in the attic, but went 18/6 when it warned up. The key is to not insult them early with nute burn or heat stress and keep the HPS about a foot above the plant until it shows sex. This makes it stretch and that is the key. Otherwise you just get a 15 inch tall runt. Mine was about 24 inches tall after tying her down. I also accidentally topped her at about 5 weeks, by burning her on the light which helped by turning the main cola into 4 separate huge buds.
