2nd closet/cfl grow

does anyone check this out? heres some pics from today. 2 plants. The leaves on my bigger plant look kinda freakishly huge. there about 20-22 days from poppin up from seed.

Smaller one. Its in a baby formula can lol.

Is anyone even checking out this journal? If you look at it leave me some feedback on what you think of my ghetto ass setup. I just built a ghetto ass box for my closet, it helps with blocking alot of light, im gonna paint the inside white later today. I got 6 2700k 23w cfls in there on the 2 plants.I have another 2 23w and a 20w that i need to figure out how to hook up, i have 1 more little socket so ill be able to get atleast 1 more light in there to make it 7 in total with 163 watts. With the other 23 and 20w light in there too ill be at 204watts. My neighbor is growing 2 plants with 1 70w hps and his buds are pretty nice and suprisingly dense. Anyone know where i can get a 150w hps for cheap? They got one at menards for 100 bucks but thats alot of money.

Just put a 70w hps on the plants today. Gonna add the cfls in too

Pics with new hps light. The light was fuckin up my camera and makin weird lines on the pics when i was close to it. I need to find a way to get my cfls back in there on them with the new hps light. Gonna get one of those shiny blankets and line the box with it tonight. Also going to make a lid for the box sometime. too high right now to do it, got some sour diesel on a road trip to rochester mn. its good shit

You were in Roch MN? I live *very* close there! I sold a g of sour diesel to someone I work with... If you bought more than a g than I know you're not who i sold it to lol

Looking good. How'd you make the reflector, it looks cool. The leaves are huge cause it's an indica strain.

I was there with my g-f to see her family. We told her brother to get us some and he got it for us. It was $30 for half an 8th

the tips of your leaves may be curling down due to a number of things... i noticed that one of my outdoor plants had begun to do this when it was raining every afternoon and did some research on it.... my soil was not drying before being watered again you may want to let your soil dry out completely (crusty to the touch at least 2 inches deep) before watering again... this fixed my plant. or it could be a certain nute deficiency, forgot which kind you might just want to google and taht should give you some good ideas as to why it is doing that but i would definitely try letting soil get crusty as if the soil is too wet the roots have a harder time absorbing oxygen. root rot also becomes a problem with wet soil and may make your leaves begin to curl. in order to prevent this you can use 30 mililieters of 3% solution h2o2 per gallon of water when you water. it will really help your roots stay nice and white and strong as well as helping to prevent root rot.

I got a big cabinet thing with doors today. I lined it with that emergency walmart b lanket thing and im gonna put my plants and light in it tomorrow and ill have pics then. My plants are in dark right now and i dont want to disturb them.
