2nd grow - GDP, Blue Rhino, ebb+flow

So I abandoned the aerotube setup because I don't have the $ for all the equipment, mainly the chiller needed to keep the hydro solution at the right temp. Instead, I've gone with a simple ebb & flow hydro setup, and it's working quite well.

Clones were cut 5/21. The two BR#1 clones didn't root as quickly as the others and were discarded.

A month after being cut, 6/21. I had originally used the Sugar Peak molasses based nutes from my first soil grow, the shit stunk so bad! Switched to Flora Nova on 6/13, and the plants have EXPLODED with growth since.

Three days later, 6/24.

6/26, the screen was put in place.

6/29, three days' growth.

Just a few minutes ago, 7/3. I'm trying to get the back filled in as much as possible, but these ladies are about ready to switch to flower :-P As you can plainly see, I only have SO much room. I'm thinking of just topping the branches up front/center so the back can catch up.

I'm going to run my light's exhaust up into the attic space and hang the light properly, I have maybe a foot and a half to move the light up until it hits the shelf. If it comes down to it I'll just cut out the shelf or somethin. Also thinking of getting some fluorescent lights to put in the front/back/side since they won't be getting much of the 400w down very far.

Oh and in case you're wondering about the plant front right that looks like a shrubbery, that's the clone I air-layered on the mother :D

GDP buds :D

GDP is on the left, with the numerous, thinner pistils. The Blue Rhino is the one with the fewer, larger pistils. Kinda interesting having the two diff strains to be able to compare and contrast

The underside, gettin sparse under there

Hoping mine turn out like that. Just put three White Widow into the ebb and flow system here. They are under 600W lighting and should be starting to put on some growth soon.

About a week into flush, I finally found my damn camera battery charger :D once I find my tripod I'm going to try to get some better macro shots, I just needed some to see how the trichomes were coming along. There's nothing better than being able to take some pics, put em on the computer and blow them up nice and huge so you can see each individual trichome :D

Enjoy some eye candy....

Blue Rhino: Not quite as dank as the GDP, but has some of the biggest colas of the entire grow. Seriously massive buds, this MOAB is impressive.

So, wanna see if the bud is ready for harvest? Screw those little magnifying glasses, I have a 30x loupe and it doesn't even compare to this...I can see that it's a bit early to cut em down, which is on schedule b/c I've still got some flush time. They might be just a bit ahead of schedule, but oh well. Still looks dank as FUCK...

Wow beautiful grow,

That GDP looks prime :)

Where did you get the seeds / cuttings?

BR seeds came from an online seed vendor, I dunno if I'm allowed to post the url but it's a great site. The GDP came from a clone from the club. Made that plant into a mother and took clones for this grow.

This is how it looks now. I'm letting some of the bigger colas go longer, I don't see many amber trichs on them yet. I'm also going to try to re-veg some so I can get some clones, I really like these strains

One of the BR colas :D

The drying box. Still lots of smaller branches to cut and hang, as well as the monsters

Some GDP colas. Don't they look like rock candy? :D

So I finally got around to re-vegging the grow, to try to continue on the GDP genetics since the mother was stolen  The purp turned nearly black after having been flushed for a few weeks, and the temp dropped a bit. I wasn't sure if it would successfully reveg b/c there's hardly ANY green left on the plants. The BR already has significant new growth, while I just today found some new growth on the purp :-P

Here's a shot of how the grow looks as of this morning. Can you tell where the purp is?

Closeup of the new growth on the BR.

Tiny spot of new GDP growth :-P

Another little spot of growth
