2nd PC grow!! Check it out RIU!!

So this is my second grow using a PC case. I upgraded to two cases so I can try to keep a constant harvest. For all you PC haters, I agree with you! The yield will not be huge, but this set up is all i need for now, I will harvest plenty for myself.
I am using FFOF soil and will be using their fertilizers. The plants from my first grow loved them so I'm sticking with what works. I have not used any nutes yet because the soil has had plenty. I will however start with a mild big bloom solution soon. All lights are on 18/6 cycle. LST is my preferred growing method, i feel the yield is bigger in the small space. All feedback or questions welcome, especially tips and tricks!! Let's grow some grass!!:weed

cool set up man what kind of lights are you using? you mind posting a pic of how the insides of the cases are set up? i'm interested to see how those ww autos do. plants look super healthy

What up crazytrain! Thanx for the kind words! I am excited about the WW auto's as well. I have heard great things. Here are the two WW auto's. Both planted a day apart, so it looks like a got a runt, but I don't love her any less!! That white rusky in the biggest pot is supposed to be a cross between WW and AK47, so real excited about that! Here are some straight away pics of my case. Is this what you wanted? The case with the hanging lights will be my flower chamber, it is taller and I can move the power strip, they are secured by magnets. In there are 5 6500 cfl with one 2700. The lower chamber will be my veg chamber and those lights are fixed so that is why I used the dvd cases to prop the plants up. That has three 6500 and one 2700.

yea man thanks for the pics. for the flower chamer id recomend more 2700k and less 6500k so use like 4 2700k and 2 6500k always helps to have agood mix of spectrum. what are your temps like? any smell control devices or just smellin out the place lol i kinda am

Your totally right crazytrain, I am still vegging in there though. I didn't say that earlier. I will be switching to exactly what you said 4-2 in a few weeks. I checked out your grow man, real nice!! How long did you veg for?

right on man good plan. i read you plan to lst, nice choice. check out monko's lst job in his pc case its super sick. i was hoping to veg for 2 weeks until they autoflowered but the blueberry never auto'd. so i switched light to 12/12 after 40 days of veg. been flowering for 42 days now.

Your going to have some great smoke man!! I checked out monko's lst, that is pretty sick! My temps run between 80-89. It all depends on the weather outside. As far as the smell, I cut up some shoe boxes and mounted them over the exhaust so I can control the air coming out of the chamber.I have the exhaust air coming out of the bottom of the shoe box, so when they start smelling I put a shot glass full of oder neutralizer where the air comes out. works great! I need to be stealth, so this was very important and I tried a whole bunch of stupid stuff before I got it.

nice ill have to try the shot glass of odor stuff i have a hole in the top of my case for exhaust with ona gel under the box smeels weird though

I have found that those containers of odor control are way to strong for a PC case. And I agree that ona smells weird. I use an al natural odor killer. The directions say to just leave the lid off but that is way too much. Here is a pic of the stuff I use.

I thought the label was awesome too!! altgarden.com is where I got mine. if you get it do not stick your nose real close to smell the stuff!! It is that strong!! I even put like two shot glasses of it in the chamber and that worked well too.

So I finally bring you all an update on my second grow. Everything is going well and the ladies are looking great.
I do have a question for all you autoflower experts though. The Crystal plants I am growing are on day 48, and the white widow are a few weeks behind that. All have shown me they are female, but no signs of flower yet. Should I have seen flowers by now? is it normal for an auto to go this long? In the 5th pic from left to right are my two crystals and one of the white widows. All comments are welcome!!

from my experience with autos i have noticed most start to flower around 20ish days to 35 days. you should start to see "bud" growth after about 15ish days of flowering. i did just harvest a blueberry autop that didnt auto so i switched the lights over to 12/12 after 41 days.

I put my smaller white widow into 12/12 a few days ago just to see if it switches. Ill switch the others as well, ill run out of room if I let them keep going. On the plus side I should have a great harvest!

Hey crazytrain! I also wanted to ask , did your plant show you sex before you switched the lights? Thats the only reason I have not switched yet. They showed me their little female pistols so i assumed the white hairs would be coming soon.

Does anyone know if it is normal for a autoflower plant to show female pistols but not start flowering?

my blueberry did exactly that. showed pistils around 28ish days and nothing happened until i switched to 12/12. the pistils are the white hairs.
