2nd Pro200 Grow, Unknown Dank

Last grow I had one plant. No scale handy but it was somewhere around an ounce and half I believe. That's ok for a first grow with one plant I would say.

GREAT, I going to try and upload some pics today, no burns or any defects so far. SiCC haven't seen your thread in a minute, how are the girls doin this time around?
 
Well my last crops died, checc my new journal in my signature, will be putting pics up today, my seeds just cracc'd
 
She's looking gorgeous. Growth has been fast and healthy. Weird stem though, you'll see it in the pic. Hope you like 'em:leaf:

Damn bro that seems like some bad ass mold on the grow sponge. I would try and remedy that very quickly. And that stem is rotting or something. Probably from the mold.
 
I'm thinking about using a Q-Tip (ear cleaner) to rub RUBBING ALCOHOL containing 70% Isoprophyl, a Frist Aid antiseptic. Would this harm my plant? I read that it kills mold.
 
damn, alot of people are havng this problem, you need that sponge covered up the WHOLE time. idk how to fix it tho
 
I had it covered the whole time. Anyway, I used diluted Bleach, and sprayed the lower stem (effected area) and the rockwool, including surrounding surface. I alos sent 7-8 sprays into the resovoir and I know one spray directly hit the rooted rockwool where mold was also found. I then wiped and patted the grow surface near the stem after giving it a minute so the bleach would't do too much to the point it would too cause damage but yet defintely killed all bacteria.
 
Will do, I hesitated a bit when I did this, but it seems like I have no other choice that's any less risky and the stem is pretty far gone.
 
you have roccwool??? i would unplug the actual AG unit, and only use the Air Stone, the drip system constantly runs water into the grow net aera, they absorb and keep alot of water
