So this is my third grow.
First one went ok for not knowing anything and my second one was a complete wreck thanks to a random cold front that came through my town. (Was in closest off patio) which did make me mad because I had Gotten a vanilla kush seed I got from a friend.

By anyways, I got three more random bag seeds. And decided to do a bit more of a better job on my grow room.
-panda film all the way around
- 400 watt mh/hps system
- General hydroponics three part nute line (micro, gro, bloom) and CALiMAGic.
-Fox farm ocean soil
-1gal pots

Starting feeding nutes at the start of week 3 of veg. Then every other week after that.
Didn't add CALiMAGic untill I did the flip.

They are currently on week 2 since I flipped them to flower and to me they look great.

I topped two of them and left one as is.
One of the topped ones I had tied down the stems to have her open up a little, first time doing this, kinda just messing around.

Just let me know what you guys think, good or bad. Always willing to learn more..

Not bad, looking decent... bigger pots maybe next time? Just a thought..
Yeah that's what I thought about at first, but kinda spare of the moment thing. 1gal is all I had laying around. And honestly wanted to see how big they could get in a small pot.
I always heard people growing in small pots for limited space, so just kinda experimenting with these.

It works... many will argue the point and it will limit harvest, but you will still get bud... personally I prefer 3 gallon smart pots as the smallest and usually go with the 5 gallon. Root health is just as important as the plant itself, but things look good, enjoy the smoke and if you want a bit more harvest next run, just step them up.. Also, some will say you can re-pot now, I dont usually re-pot once in flower, just a personal preference. good job

Yes, I agree to go bigger, but yeah it a just a trial run. First time topping too so seeing how how it turns out.
But thanks I appreciate the comments. Still kinda new to growing so any tips good or bad are great.

So just giving you guys an update on my recent grow.
I got a 4x4x6.5 grow tent last week.
Got it all set up in the garage.

They are now in week 3 of flower and really starting to smell good

Had trouble keeping it above 70 degrees on the first two nights, now I put a space heater next to the tent, since I run my lights at night. And it seems to work.
Staying at a good 75.

Thanks, thought I'd keep it easy.
Once I get a good technique going on these "bag seeds" then I'll try my luck with some dank clones. Or seeds, whatever I get my hands on.

Some tips. Use calmag if using ro or low tds/ppm water from the start. You dont need the gro nute, the micro and bloom have plenty of nitrogen in them for veg. For sure use larger pots next time 3g min. I also like the cloth smart plots they kick ass. Top your plants at least once at the 3rd nod once it has grown in. Lastly move that light down. Its a 400w so you want it closer.

I starting using CALiMAGic when I switched them to 12/12
Yeah I used them my last grow, ended up leaving it when I moved...
Next time.
But how far you think I should keep the light away from the tops?
