2x2 and 4x4 tent clones perpetual idea

So here are my plants, first time photos. They're 40 and 35 days old, topped once. I have nice tops, better than with autos, more symetrical and all. I like that. Maybe I should top little lower next time, because I have now two bigger tops than others (see pics). I take clones from that tops, dipped into Clonex and root powder, and into precharged coco at 0.7 EC. Now into dome, lifting and spraying clones and dome 1x per day. That's good or no? Never cloned. When should I water coco now? They're in 200 ml cups.
Also... When to flip now? If I let them grow for 10 days more, they'll only grow in height, right? I don't think this means bigger yield, or?

So, I want to run perpetual setup with two tents, which are 2x2 and 4x4 size. I want to run clones, because I am sick of autos which I grew till now. I want more consistency. I get 450-550g from autos with dimming my DIY Samsung lights to 400 W at wall.

So... what's the plan? I want to use full lights, so 650 W at wall. I want at least 600 grams dry, so with 4 clones this is 150g per plant or with 5 plants that's 120g per plant.
Let's say I have 60 day strain. So 4x4 tent gets new plants/clones every 60 days. Right before I transfer clones to 4x4 tent, I cut new 4-5 clones.

I guess 2x2 tent is too small to hold clones for that long. Let's say I get roots in 10 days. So that's 50 days of veg. And I can only fit 4 10L pots inside 2x2 tent. Maybe 5 if I use 8L pots. Also if you have some pics of clones, I would be happy to see them for 50 days veg. Topping also.

So... what's your opinion on this? Don't say me I need bigger tent or some of that nonsense. Let's talk about idea what's best for what I have.
I think your on to something here, if you do four and fill 2x2 tecnically that would be perfect to go into 4x4 for flower, ive heard that if tent half full put into flower and will double in size. Ive got a 2x4 and am thinking the same thing, now. Thanks, my clones were cut as i put tent in flower, they are not growing so fast, little clones still, just starting to grow, cut 12 only 3 or 4 have started growing. Not very big at all.

They are looking real good, before flip, I usually figure that they can double in size or more, everyone has a different way to do things. Youre doing well, I always lose a few for some reason. So if 2 plants fill footprint of 2x4 then they should fill 4x4, id go with 4, less time involved, or 9-12 for 4x4 seems what most do. Not sure if this help or not, stoned and forgot question, not good with alien electronics, lol.

I'm no pro but I'm thinking about similar things because I want to work with only a 2×2 and a 3×3. Is it feasible for you to do some kind of vertical grow in the 2×2 to get around your space worries?

Id do 1 big plant, thats id veg for 35-40 days w lst she could get big fast if no slowdown. Supposed to be autoflower. No topping lst only.

But wouldn't that make it tougher to do perpetual? With some kind of stadium grow with multiple plants, you could swap out plants as they finish istm.

Eta: he said he's switching away from autos. These are clones.

So, they're couple days into 12/12 now. I wonder if I keep tucking, or just let them grow upwards... What I've read, they are done stretching around 15-20 days post flip. Is 15 days now enough time to grow new branches? Looking for yield of course.

Perpetual is introducing a few new plants into the flowering room as you harvest a few. This is just having a veg room. The problem I've run into with having a small veg tent is the plants can't spread out, so they stretch upward and end up leaning on each other, making their stalks weak. You're better off waiting a little longer to clone and veg them out for a few weeks in the flower room before flipping.
