As the name indicates I am an old guy and not at all tech savvy so I need to check with all the 'nano heads'. Wondering if that much light is an issue? I was pretty much always under the impression that you can never have too much light. But I am pretty new to the LED thing. So, the question remains the same...too much light in that space?

That can work even better. Just turn them down a bit. You'll have a decent light spread.

35 watts per cu. ft. is plenty, and you have more than that. 280 watts total will kick ass. I have 2 QB's at 90 watts a piece in my 2x4 veg tent.

Thanks for the reassurance. The 2 SF lights do not have dimming capability so I got the Bestva and will use just that for the first couple of weeks into early veg and then turn the others on.

If it was me I'd run the 2 SF lights all the time, and put the Bestva in the center dimmed down if you need. You could still use just the Bestva alone though if you want for low lighting situations.

Ya, I am gonna build the tent out that way with the dimmable in the middle. I just thought a lower light setting would be better for new seedlings.

I originally got the SF 2x2 and the 1 1000D light. Then I added the 2nd 1000D. That became a bit of an issue due to heat accumulation and the grow space. So I decided to go with a bigger tent. Then I get the idea that 3 plants with a light for each plant should boost harvest. Hoping to get at least 2 oz/plant

Plus you can adjust the heights independently for different sized plants too.
