i'm really pretty amazed - my co2 tank is still pumping. i dunno when it will run out but its lasted 45 days so far and that rocks! then again i only use a trickle. also my co2 controller works amazingly - conserving co2.

i havent been very active lately. not much new. i went to che shaq and picked up a 60x - 100x zoom microscope. it works really well and puts the trichomes in perfect view. now i can more accurately tell when to harvest. right now i would consider the overall plant 40%-clear, 50%-milky, and 10% amber.

i'm going to flush tomorrow night in prep for harvest.

clones are looking good. nice and perky. should root any day.

alright, i have some pictures i took tonight. just thought i'd share.

i finished flushing her about 5 minutes ago and she is draining in the tub so i wanted to post some pics in the meantime. she is very close. i could probably chop today, but i want to give her some time to clear out any extra ferts - also a little more fattening time. i'll be chopping in 3 days if the stem doesn't snap 1st. any time i move her, i feel its gonna be her last. she is bent about 30 degrees and she sways like crazy. but its all for the better. enjoy

Don't stop posting man, Everything looks great...

Your last few pics look like it might be time, but the scope is the only way to really tell.
How did they look with the scope?

How long is your 20# Co2 tank lasting you? I have a brain that measures PPM of the air and If I keep it slightly lower at 1100PPM, I can get almost 4 weeks out of a tank.

Your buds are killer lookin,
I am still trying to dial my new system in. All the bud has been good quality but i know I can get more out of them in terms of weight. Are those the only chemicals you are using right now? Thanks for the time you have put in already, it is inspirational.

P.S. I have much the same setup as you except I run three smaller trays in the same size tent (almost), to also run a perpetual garden, I can harvest every 3-4 weeks if I stay on top of it. Mine is all controlled with a master brain that is sick, so I know what you are talking about with it running it's self, just stay on top of the water and nutes and it runs good. Thanks again....... JR

hey thanks a lot.

my scope actually broke yesterday. the light burnt out or something. i plan on taking it back. your right. prob ready now, some trichs slump and have golden tinge. but i want the very tops to be desirable.

its probably been 50 days since i last filled co2 - i check the pressure gauge everyday and in the last 10 days the needle nas moved considerably. i adjust the flow until it is desirable. also i tube co2 to a fan and blow it directly on plants. on average co2 runs for (4)mins and the fan is on for about (12)mins.

yes, botanicare cns17 are the only nutes i use. i do plan on investing in liquid karma - possibly others as well. i get mixed results from my feeding schedules. i must say coco is fairly forgiving. i need to get an air diffuser and a fish tank filter(no carbon) for my res.

today was kind of exciting. got my replacement microscope, flushed both veg plants, and got an air diffuser for my res.

since the containers holding both veg plants arent at full capacity, i flushed with 8 gallons of ph corrected ROwater each. the diffuser i went with was an 18" green - foam - tube. seemed alright. we will see how it works. came with suctions that stuck to the bottom of the res. i already had an air pump. since i got a new scope, i can see trichs in detail. 80% cloudy - 20% amber. i also tied bubblicious #1 to a stake for support.

how long are you going to wait? JR
i will chop when the container is light. no later than the 15th. whenever the root zone becomes dry. i would like to see 70% amber, 30% milky - but she may be fried by then.

this plant is getting pretty stinky. you can smell her in my house when you walk in. i believe my year old carbon filter is dead. tonight i ordered a new one. along with a gallon container of cns17 bloom ferts.

took some pictures of my other flowering plant tonite. bubblicious #2 is a clone from my mature bubblicious plant. i'm really excited about her.

any pics? :peace:
no, i delete pics frequently. that was like 3 harvests ago. so i guess i can't really back up my claim. i can describe it for you. regular looking bud - green leaves - very light green buds, almost neon. last days of flushing before harvest pistils had a blue/violet tint along with preflowers turning dark blue.

i forgot to mention that early this morning i chopped the bottom half of my plant. these lower buds looked ready. all orange pistils, 80%cloudy 20%amber. i want to let the tops mature a bit more. i ended up with 137g wet this batch and expect more than that with the tops. so more than likely 3oz from this plant. i'll keep it updated though

i chopped the rest of my bubblicious plant. i was really amazed at the wet weight from (4) tops. wet - it weighed 304 grams - not including what i chopped 2 nights ago. all together 440 grams wet. i know wet weight doesn't mean much but typical loss for me is 70%-75%. i remove as much stem and leaf as possible.

25% of 440 is 110 and that equals 3.8oz. very good. but remember this is only a ball park. i expect 3.5oz when i'm completely done drying and curing.
