Day 16:
Is been 11-13 days since the seeds sprouted. All 3 Good Shit seedlings are doing great. One of the Skittlez is doing ok, but not as good as the good shit. The other Skittlez is barely alive.

If you remember, I planted a 3rd Skittlez. That one barely came up and wilted away. Being an auto flower, the Skittlez may simply be not as good of a genetic.
Or.
I had some tiny black flies with big wings crawling on the soil (fungus gnats?). So I sprayed the top of the soil with a neem oil solution. While I tried to not get it on the , the 2 Skittlez may have been too small and fragile to not get harmed by the neem.

The second from left was the first one to sprout.

The front right is the struggling skittlez.

Day 17 since sprouting.

The 3 Good shit are doing great. One is now spaning a width of 8" and a height of about 6". The other 2 are slightly smaller. The one skittlez is doing ok. The other skittlez is just sitting there not doing anything.
Humidity is still low, around 25%, temperature ranges from 62-78°f.

Day 18. Today I topped the plants. Temp was 65°f this am. I turned up the heat a little to get the temps up into the 70s. I am planning on keeping them at 18/6 for 2 more weeks.

Currently the position of the Root Max light is providing 450 umol to the tops and 320 umol at the soil level. Right where it should be.

Day 22
The 3 Good Shit seedlings are doing great, so is the Skittlez. The tiny skittlez is still tiny.

Today was the 4th watering day since planting. The Indicanja soil is keeping the plants well nourished.

Day 25
Things are getting fuller. Tight nodes bushy and broad plants. Stalks are getting strong. 20201124_102314.jpg
All plants sprouted within 3 days off each other. Interesting is the plant on the left was the first to sprout. The one on the right is the autoflower Skittlez.
20201124_102331.jpg
Starting to fill out the tray. Tray size is 8x14".
20201124_102329.jpg
Super tight nodes.

The light is now 5-6 inches above the canopy.

The next report will be 8 days from now.

Day 32.
Ok. I'm back. The plants only needed one watering while I was gone. Thankfully, I had someone lined up to check on them for me. Still no nutrients needed.

Check out the skittlez autoflower on the right. It really kicked it into high gear under the Root Max light! Also noteworthy is the left-behind tiny Skittlez ( front right) it's now finally picking up speed! The 3 Good Shit plants are doing great as well. Check out the super bushy second plant from the left.
To give you an idea of the size, the plant on the left is about 6" tall, after tying it down some. A few close ups below.

The last 2 images are of the Skittlez autoflowers

Tomorrow, the 3 Good Shit plants will get moved under the flower lights. The skittlez will also be moved under a Ditto Max light. (The very first prototype Ditto Max, now 2 1/2 years old)

This morning all 5 plants for moved under Ditto Max lights. The autoflower was moved under the original Ditto Max prototype light. Each of the Good Shit got moved under a different Ditto Max test light. These test lights have 3 different spectrums and are housed in our Led Under-cabinet light frames. The light size is only 15x9". One of the spectrums has red/white/green/blue LEDs and is driven at 35w (original), one is identical, but it's driven at 50w, the third uses our new Ditto Max spectrum, this only has white and red LEDs and is driven at 50w.
The test would be better had i used 3 clones from the same mother plant.

Day 2 of flower day 34 since sprouting.
So. The auto flower skittlez was drooping this morning. Temps were down to about 60f. Could it's be a cold issue? Nutes?
I'm going to check them later in the day when it's warmer

The others are doing much better

Day 9 of flower, day 41 since sprouting.
The 3 photoperiod Good Shit plants are happy for the most part. Some brown coloring around the leave edges. Potassium? 20201212_084450.jpg

The skittlez autoflower is still drooping. I thought the problem might have been too much water. I let it dry out and barely watered for the last week. Any thoughts?

Thanks. I had not considered boron deficiency. Salt buildup? Can you tell me more about that?
Thanks again.
Its when salts build up in the soil from nutrients that the plants are not taking in ,its either one or the other.whats your ec.Fluxh the medium with just plain water let them dry out then continue feeding. But ive had born deficiency and its hard to deal with .The yellowing and twisting if leafs is a sure fire sign

Thanks for the explanation, i don't think in have salt build up from nutrients. I have only added nutrients once since starting the plants, and then it was only a very light solution of Buddha Bloom. The soil I use is specifically geared for cannabis plants with nutrients build in. It's called Indicanja by Purple Cow Organics.
But I do believe that it is rather a deficiency. I'm going to see if I have nutrients around with boron.
I really appreciate your feedback.

Day 15 of flower. Day 47 since planting.
I feed the plants, increased the room temperature and let them dry out a bit more before watering.
Things are now looking better.

The skittlez autoflower is on its way and droops less.

It certainly took a hit though!

The other 3 Good Shit ladies are coming along. Interesting, the smallest was the slowest to germinate. It's super bushy and has about twice as many toys as the other 2. Check out out:

Day 28 of flower and 60 days since planting.
The girls are coming along. They've gotten happier after a few nutrients. It's interesting to see how much different each one behaves under the different lights.
20201228_083625.jpg
Above is the most powerful spectrum, mostly white with a boost of photo red. 50w, currently around 780 umol at the tops
20201228_083634.jpg
Above is the baseline light. Blue, white, red and green LEDs, 35watts and about 600umol at the tops (plant grew taller and is close to the light).
20201228_083649.jpg
Above, same blue, red, green and white but driven at 50 watts. About 580umol at the tops. This girl seems to be the furthest along.
20201228_083540.jpg
20201228_083552.jpg
Above, the skittlez autoflower. Doesn't look pretty, but is still doing her thing.

I will now adjust the light height closer to the plants. It will increase the umol under the 2 more powerful lights. The 35w light plant is already very close to the light.
