Strain is "Fast Skunk feminised" from De Sjamaan seeds. I started with 4 plants but my low stress training got a little out of hand (first timer mistakes) and so I figured I'd just stick with topping until I have a little more experience under my belt. So these are the three girls I have been nurturing thus far. I use an organic soil infused with compost at a PH of around 6.5-7.0. Once every two weeks or so I use a general purpose liquid concentrate "plant food" solution that is rated at 10-10-10. I'm sure I could get better results with higher quality nutrients but for now I'm going to stick with what I'm doing since it seems to be working and I'm still learning.

Its been a pretty big learning curve, I've had to deal with cold weather and frost early on, my own mistakes in LST cost me one plant, ravenous aphids and then earwigs, a mild case of nutrient burn when I went a little hard on the cheap nutrients but so far its been a lot of fun watching them grow. I've just topped several of the new growths to keep the height down a little and gain a little more yield in the long run.

I cant wait to see what I get in the next couple months when they start flowering. What do you guys think? Any advice or tips on the grow?

Really nice and healthy looking plants bro...they look happy based on the fact that the leaves are perky and green. Just keep doing what ur doing!

Im really interested in how u lost a plant due to LST? This was my first year doing LST and my babies loved the abuse! Lol not ragging on you just wondering so some more experienced LSTers if you will can help lol

The issues I had with LST were 99% me not letting the damn thing alone. The plant was only about a month and a half old and rather small when I wrecked her. We had a heavy rain and the stem was rather swollen with the water and I bent just a little too much a little too soon and snapped the main stem at the base. The plant was then hanging by a thread at a 90 degree angle, I tried taping the stem back in place but the break was too much, after a week or so with the tape the break site was turning brown and slimy and you could see the infection/diseased area spreading. I cut my losses and pulled the plant. I think of it as a learning curve mistake and Ill leave the LST for maybe a second or third grow.

You live and you learn man...give it a go next year it works wonders...just be patient and bend a little every Few days

I start LST at four weeks then top the main stem when i run out of room to bend...good luck with your other 3

So here I am now 4 months into the grow. It seems that just when I think I'm getting the hang of this, something else goes wrong. I had a bit of a PH issue that I thought was a nutrient deficiency. So stupid me, I fertilized before I tested my PH and burnt my plants. They have recovered nicely but you can still see the burnt leaves in the pics, ah well live and learn right? So with a few applications of dolomite lime to adjust my PH and mother nature helping me flush with plenty of rain water I am back on track. As far as I can tell I'm about a week into flower and I'm getting a very nice skunky odor. I'm estimating another 6 weeks before harvest, but that is plenty enough time for a few more learning curves to come my way.

Im only fertilizing once every 2 weeks now and Im using a 14-22-17 solution. I'm only giving them about 1/2 the recommended dose, Im learning to let my plants tell me what they like. They certainly show you what they like by suddenly growing like crazy and they show your mistakes just as fast.

Anyway that is a quick update on where I'm at. How's everyone else making out with their grows?
