3 Plant CFL

I'm sorry DO3. I did not mean to hijack your thread buddy. I just thought it would be cool to have separate cfl grows on the same thread. We both started at about the same time But we have different approaches. All things considered it would have been nice See what works and what doesn't.
I think I might try 24/7. I have to look into it a little bit. It might be easier to get a good stable come that way. How many hours are you running your lights?
I would like to bump the plants up to their final resting places. I'm Just not sure if they have enough roots yet. Have a nice thanksgiving.

Can you BOTH post pictures of your PLANTS and your ENTIRE SETUP? Sorry DO3 by the time I started reading this, I didn't know who's this was. But, yea, post some pictures up of your plants/setup and we'll see where we can go from there. Happy thanksgiving to you two and RIU.

Make sure it's pictures of your setup, don't allow anything to give you away in the pictures. JIC

no problem roots, like you said similar but different approach, we should also go into flowering together too, and see which approach yields better with different strains.

I will try that DO3. How long do you plan on leaving in veg? Ii started listing tonight and am going to 22/2. with the lights. I would like to move them up a pot size but am going to give them another week. I want to have a bit more roots first. Have you done any training yet? I also plan on pinching at least once after I depot them. Let's get growing Bud. Let's see what they think of 22 hours of light. No guts no glory. Will take pics tomorrow or the next day. I wish i had started them in larger pots. Can't lst in a solo cup. I think temps are going to be fine!!!!

Wuz up DO3... I was under the impression That no matter how much vertical space you had Your plants would benefit from some tension or training When it comes to Overall yield. I bet you would be better off At least topping them Once or twice. Not only am I going to talk mine I am going to lst lst them as well. It looks like our techniques are going to have big differences right up until harvest which is good.
I really want to repot them but I don't want to bum them out to much if they are not ready.
It seems like most of what I read suggest that they do require a dark period. I am just uncertain how much.
I plan on vegging mine about 45 days as well. I am waiting for la few more leaf sets before i consider them to be vegging. At that point I will add some week nutrients or maybe just a compost and seaweed tea. Going to let them tell me.
Try and post some pictures will you DO3. Our eggs hatched within a few days of each other so let's see if miracle grow is helping yours.
Stay out of trouble budski. What do you mean about the feds?? I don't live in boston, so they better look for me in new jersey. Exit 35 off of 95 . They are too busy Trying to figure out Who killed natalie woods. Ha Ha. Bunch of dumb asses.

Jusg makin it clear. They are always reading and watching.. trust me on that. I havd enough room to where I don't need to lst. Took a look at one plant yesterday and it had spider mites fml. A little dish soap and water in a sprayer took care of them. That same plant was under a bulb about 3 inches and it popped up and burned itself. Cfl,s can burn yur shit. But today it. Is doing good and still growing.

I don't worry about the feds at all. In fact I was in copenhagen last summer And loaded up with hash from cristiana. They are looking for dope anymore They are looking for bombs just as it should be. I brought back 10 grams of really sweet nepalese and Afghani hash. Very dumb but very successful. I will tell you that was 1 fine Vacation. The dope over there Is sure not cheap But boy was it good..
What is your lighting schedule DO3? And you're really not going to do any pruning at all? Rock on bud and show me some pictures I want to see pictures Do you think I could get away with transplanting now?

theres alot more things done then said.. and pruning on two plants (lollipop method) other two all natural.. i am now down to 4 plants. i was at five, but i pulled one due to the spider mites. horrible little fuckers:cry:, id rather get rid of it then they spread everywhere. so three are almost 3 weeks in and one is about a week in. id rather be safe than sorry.. i will post pics later, because i just got off work and its time for a 32oz and a nice fat :joint:

you hould post some of yours too

Looking just fine DO3. The insecticidal soap should stop the mites. If not bring out a bigger guns like pyrethrin. I think it's derived from either Mums or Marigolds and not only will it kill the mites for sure it will be long gone in a couple of months. I hate to use any viscious poisons but it you have to get them buds, get them now!!!
I am surprized that you have mites already. Your using store bought soil which I would have thought to bebug free. My dirt however is right out of my compost heap so lord knows what I'm gonna catch.:-?
I got bugs in the box and weed seeds sprouting. I just don't have any bad bugs yet and won't I hope. The weeds are not a problem. I just cut them out with a little pair of scissors. Bugs are sure tougher to get rid of. My little ones are doing fine the yellow leaves are no longer an issue and I'm gonna bump them up a pot size very soon. Like I said previously, just can't lst in a solo cup. Good luck

Thanks dread I will check that out. I would like some higher wattage bulbs.

Three weeks today they were germinated and today I have to lay one to rest. Still leaves me with four Master Kush and a bag seed. Just want four at the most anyway. Will transplant next day off. I think they are ready for it and I can't lst in a solo cup although I have started. The one I pinched (not shown) is struggling a bit too.
All in all, I have five healthy looking plants. The yellowing leaves I had earlier have been by-passed but good green healthy leavesand the dead little lady was not one of the ones with yellow leaves. I think it was the cold concrete slab. I'm doing 22/2 on the light and have bulbs to add but will wait a little. The little reflectors do well with just one bulb.
Still waiting for some socket extenders which hopefully are pretty slick.
Good luck DO3. We still got a long way to go. ARG!!!

Hey DO3.. The plant I pinched is having a little trouble rebounding. I've pinched 100's of plants mostly not weed and I just missed my target by a little bit I think. I sort of cut off the new growth coming out of the axiel (sp) which would have been branches. When I pinch I just hope for two strong new terminals but I don't get it but I "think" when you top your looking for four. Like I said I don't get the difference between pinching and topping if there is one. I may just try to keep lsting for awhile. but then agian I still just have no idea. It's a work in progress.

The one plant that passed on at the three week B-Day from germination mark had a lot of roots!! I'm gonna tranplant the rest first chance I get. Just not sure whether to plan on repoting once more or twice. The soil was holding the rootball very well. The soil is loose and I hope to keep it that way. Just tight enough..Keep it growing DO!!!
:peace:
