If seeds are not old, do not soak them they are already have the proper mositure. rock wool cubes soaked in ph water 5.5 for 24 hrs is the best. transplanting from place to place is just shocking and disturbing. I suggest 70-80% 80-90 degrees temp. Dont make it harder then this. if you can do this you are going to be fine.

I'm good! Patience is a virtue..... I learned a watched seed never sprouts! Thanks guys for all the help. I moistened my plugs 2 times a day the past two days and have 6 beautiful sprouts forming leaves now. Thanks so much guys!

I have had exactly this with seeds that are a bit old - they crack and a taproot appears but they grow no more. I often wonder about how long seeds can be lying around before the seed banks ship them.
