If you can put that NL under veg lights I'll be able to swap him out for a female WW and grow him out for stud. I need about 10-12 days to get a tent set up, got people/space issues at the moment. Let me know what works, I have even less experience collecting pollen (zero), but am willing to give it a shot.

I just made a nice little home(if you don't count the half a blackstar 500, half since the failure rate of those things is incredible) for the nl but I put you down for some pollen. here it is, looks better in person since I take shit photos almost 100 percent of the time.

I'd actually stopped caring for it since I noticed it was male. I was gonna kill it. I have enough seed and pollen to last awhile. interested in seeing how the triploid crossed up with the mob boss, I think it's female.

That's a great looking plant. Hate to see males like that go. Sooooo much potential.

I'll just need to watch myself and not track into the flower room although that wasn't a total disaster , as a matter of fact I wish it would have led to even more seed than it did.
As it stands I got like 30 seeds from the aspen og(the mother was femmed so I don't know how this affects things) and not sure about the jet fuel, haven't started collecting them yet, it was also fem seed.

We actually all need more info on fem x reg seed. It would be greatly appreciated if you'd run a journal on a few of these, PLEASE! I am thinking on a DNA lemon skunk fem that needs some 4D in it! I mean I'm gonna do it any but, ya kno....

I'm not too organized and a journal may be asking a little much of me but I'll certainly post updates here since it will kinda be 303 related.I'll go ahead and crack one or two of the aspen og x trip. I'm just not sure what the triploid was and although I'm told males will go develop pollen before flipped. if not that triploid seed had to have been an auto and I understand autos less than femmed seed.

Chef and I were already talking about this. I'm crossing a Skunk #1 x Pure Afghan male to a Dinafem Power Kush fem and I'm curious about it. That's not the primary cross I'm making with but one I stumbled across that I want to add. It just sounds too interesting not too.

gonna germ a couple of the aspen og and jet fuel both crossed with the triploid, hell I may start that tonight. I was reading something that led me to believe seed from a fem seed plant was..............then it's a blur, should have bookmarked it.

I've read a bit on fem seeds but a good portion of it's hearsay. There's few facts to be found on the actual genetic impact and gene transfer.

hell then , lets find out! the two I've got that I'll run are actually just reverse the parents , I don't even remember the genetics , I think I recall sfv kush but I'd have to look it up.

From what we have done with this type of genetic work at 303 we are finding it is purely circumstantial, that is to say it depends on what the genetics are for the femmed seed you are working with. We have had the best luck with S1 or a Femmed cross (so our G6 is a good example of a femmed cross how we used and Aspen OG, femmed her and used the pollen to create the G6 femmed on our High country diesel female.) where as we had bad luck with the pre-98 femmed seeds we had which were probably like S4 's or something, needless to say that project got scrapped... using less bottle-necked genetics will increase your chances of success.

Very interusting GP, thanks for the info! So the further down the femd line a strain gets the less stable it becomes? Basically?

Not necessarily, but typically. They can become more stable in terms of phenotypes, but can become less stable in terms of male pollen production and hermaphroditic traits.

Making an S1 of a polyhybrid genetic like the Aspen OG resulted in 4+ phenotypes in the S1's. We didn't feel comfortable going to S2 because a lot of our genetics find their way into medical warehouses and we do not tolerate pollen production from female plants.

We're in the process of working the Aspen line with a stable recessive male and are going to do some incrossing and/or backcrossing prior to releasing them.

Well anything the ASPEN touches is pure gold, that's for sure. How are the other projects coming? I wanna feel like I'm back in napa!!!
