30x40x60 hard frame grow box with 2 velro sides. (Work in progress)

Right off the hop I have only grew outside but have used lights for cloning and to try to keep mothers alive in winter.

I have 2 lights. The original i a ygrow 600w. But also just got a 1000w blurple from a buddy.

Its still a work in progress. But the velcro is awesome. If i did it again. All Velcro outer

Is that ygrow 600w at the wall or is the 150w but equivalent to 600w?

Thats a good tool to have in your arsenal; cheap too. I've been looking at the qb288 boards; they have around the same wattage; the entire kit though would costs a bit more than that ygrow.
Most cheap smart switches on amazon have those built in. I bought a 2 pack for 7 bucks and even those had the power metering built in

Lol. While I was building the box. I kept 3 clones from the summer. They ended up in my furnace room which was hot and dry. They got mites and almost died a few times. Next winter will be better. Grow box will be done and i have insulated my garage. The garage did not go lower the 5deg C. Last winter.

I was Lucky. In march it warmed up and my kids caught some ladybugs for me. I moved them into the box. But my box was still not complete. Without an oscillating fan. So they came back but got some mildew. Long story short. I have their clones outside now and will make oil from them to be on the safe side.

If it's not one thing it's another. Sometimes that's just how it is.

There it is with the last side attached. If i were to do it again. All velcro. It currently has 2 velcro sides and 2 fixed sides. With the bottom plastic covers metal mesh. All the parts were thrown in a bin at an automotive assembly plant. The frame is called 8080 channel i thing. Aluminium.

That aluminum T slot stuff is really handy, build some cool LED lights with it for sure.

Next, I wanna see it full of bud :bigjoint: so what are the plans from here out?

Funny you say LEDs. I was gifted a bag and am in the process of making led strips. I will probably make a few cuttings and grow 2 plants in the fall.
