3RD day of flip when do switch to HPS

Just flipped to 12/12 with MH. Should I Wait till 10 day of stretch to switch to HPS .... ??

hi I think everyones got different opinions but how I see it is once the lights been changed I don't count that as flowering I wait 1-2 weeks then deem that the start, so somewhere in that period ill swap, some will use dual spectrum, some even go mh all the way!!,

You can switch whenever honestly. They will stretch more with hps.

as packetfloss said, you can switch whenever you like. your in control of the morphology of your crop. MH will keep them smaller, bushier with shorter internodes. HPS will cause stretch, growth and flower size. You can grow under a 4000-6000K MH the entire grow and do ok. the reason to use MH during the flip is to keep stretch to a minimum, and harden them up for HPS use in the 4-6 week period of flower growth. im going to assume you have height issues so, MH till 2-3 week flower, HPS 3-7 weeks and finish at least the last 10 days under MH 6000K or higher. you'll have your best most resinous crop yet.

thanks for the helpful responses, after 4 complete days MH I've switched out to HPS 1000. First attempt at DWC and the SCROG is keeping height concerns a non-issue. Two distinctly different Sugar Punch Pheno's in one 10" net pot in 26 gal reservoir with 8 coke can size airstones Hygrohybrid technique.. Best .99 a month I've ever spent only WHEN to switch the bulbs out was never explained just implied..
