Hey everybody.
Haven't posted on RIU in a while, as my growing has been dormant for a bit, but I'm back with a 1 plant grow( only had 1 seed left
), and I figured I would share.
What we have here is a feminized Blackjack from Nirvana. This is the second time I've grown it. It has been going in veg since 03/24 on an 18-6 light cycle, and is currently 14'' tall. All leaves are a nice green, and no real issues have risen yet (fingers crossed).
Grow space: Bedroom closet, lined with mylar.
Lighting: x4 26w 2700k cfls, x1 125w 6700k/2700k ( 50/50) with wing reflector. I also have another 110w 2700 cfl and x2 45w 2700 cfl on standby if needed.
Soil: Fox Farm Ocean Forest
Pot: 10'' (3 gallons). Any bigger and I wont be able to properly close the closet door, inviting light into the dark period .
Nutes used thus far (and only after the first month): 1/4 strength of Advance Nutrient Nirvana (mainly for it's subtle Cal and Mag), 1/8 strength Miracle Grow 15-30-15 (I know, I know... I have to restock the good stuff pronto). Feeding occurs every other watering
pH: Water used is always adjusted to 6.5 and run off always tests to 6-6.5.
Airflow: I have 3 120cm pc fans circulating air. I unfortunately do not have the ability to install an intake or outtake, as I live in a rental property and can't go cutting holes in doors/walls.
Well, that's "the specs". I plan on throwing it into a 12-12 lighting cycle when it reaches 16''. Any comments and/or suggestions are appreciated! And of course, some pics for your viewing pleasure (Just taken today!
). If enough people show interest, I will update weekly with new pics.
