You mean tucking! No trimming! Every leaf you cut off is a little less production for you, unless it's more than 50% dead when you remove it.
When you give the plants too much nutes or something like that, the fan leaves absorb them and die.
When you have a lact of leaves, you bud leaves and buds are gonna start being effected by lockouts, nute burns, and deficiencies

Ok I can safely say this grow is pest free again. I have not seen any spider mites in over a week. AzaMax works really well. I have also not seen any flies on the fly traps so that is good as well.

Thanks for reminding me to grab some of that. Had a buddy a while back tell me I needed to keep in on hand, just for emergenices.
I just got a some worms and have to set up the bin, and I'm already seeing all kinda buds that I never saw before!
Damn I hope theyr're all good guys :peace:

Ok so for those of you that followed my last grow thread will be familiar with this and with me and my results last time. This time around I am taking all that I have learned from the last 2 grows and getting some help from a friend of mine that is a very good grower.
I have changed up the lighting a bit, added to it and re-positioned the lighting. I built a small shelf to get the plants off the floor, closer to the lights, to provide more air flow and to let the run off water drain down into tubes that can be easily removed and cleaned. No standing water will help a lot with the bug problems I have had, also going to had sticky traps up all the time. CO2 Exhale Bags are being used to increase growth. Aurora grow bags are being used this time instead of plastic pots to increase O2 to the roots. All soil is Happy Frog this time since the FFOF was too hot and my plants would burn if I fed veg nutes. I want to be able to feed these plants to boost growth. No tall growing sativas this time all indica plants but not sure which strain I got. My friend that I mentioned earlier gave me theses and he got the clones mixed up, I will know what they are once they flower. Going to top for multi tops and LST/tie down the plants for a type of SCROG grow. This will keep all the tops even and exposed to the most light which is key in a floro grow.
Now for some pics.

dude the spacing on the last photo is epicc... looks real healthy and nice. sucks you have to get like 6 T5 things to veg that many plants when you could prolly do with 1
600 or 1000WHPS/MH couldnt you? what made you choose the T5? im setting up my grow room and lights one of my biggest concerns, which light wattage etc.
and i saw the T5 things and they look pretty boss but the Wattage on it is confusign. looks good tho man keep it up

Heat was a concern when choosing lighting. If I could go back and do it again I would have gone with a 400w or 750w HPS but I have pleased with the results this time around. For T5 lighting you want HO T5 or VHO T5 if you can find them. Thanks for the comments, rep for you.

how far along are they? they'd look a little stretchy to me if you were under HID lighting but that's pretty good for all t5s. happy growing man :weed:
Thanks man. Yeah the Kings Kush stretched a bit when I flipped them to 12/12 but that is normal for that strian. I got all the clones from my buddy D and his Kings Kush stretched a bunch on him as well and he runs 2 1000w HPS. I ma really liking the GDP great strain for me and my setup, it stays nice and short, very little stretching, bushes out nicely and is a producer, so is the Gods Gift same growth as the GDP. I am just finishing up week 4 I believe but would need to look back a few pages to be sure. Rep for you.

hey man i like the grow i use cfls myself, but just a tip dont have to use it, to late probably anyways, BUT next grow during flowering if u dont have lights at the bottom, maybe think about somewat lolli popping ur plants, take those baby buds tht get hardly any light and chop them and focus all the energy there stealing to the top of the plant, just some advice but it might help, LOOKS GREAT THO

Yea all the little buds at the very bottom where removed a while ago so the plants will send that energy to the tops.
