4,600 watts of hps with organic raised beds

I have been growing for around 25 years and I use to maintain several grow houses around 15 years ago until one of them got robbed and I lost about $150,000 from it and with a kid on the way I decided to give up on the large scale stuff. I usually do one crop a year for friends and the wifey. I keep it as organic as possible. I start with promix and add about 150lbs of worm castings, then I mix in a compost I make then add several types of bat guano and kelp meal. I add perlite until it's how i want it plus several cups of lime both fine and granulated. After I fill my beds I let it sit for about a month while I veg. During veg i have them in small pots under a 1000 watt super hps. I use pots at first to keep the electric bill and heat down since I can get them all under a 1000 watt raised up. Depending on the strain i usually don't have to add to much during flowering unless it's needed in which i use teas i make. This go around I'm doing king banner, wedding cake,Fraco's cheese, and gelat.og. For years I've been using my own strains from the many crosses I've made in the past but decided on some newer strains to breathe some fresh life into my old stuff.
I only grow in the winter that way I can control temp better and it helps warm my house that way my electric bill doesn't spike.IMAG1209.jpgIMAG1193.jpg20181128_233513.jpg20191021_102156.jpg20191023_113133.jpg

I'll be topping them soon and transplanting them into the beds where I will give them a week or so to stretch their roots before putting them into flowering. Everything I have is feminized except the king banner so if a good kb male pops up then I'll probably experiment a little. I did a cross of 4way with a DJ short blueberry years ago that is still the best tasting I've ever seen but lost the mother when I gave to a friend to hold and he flowered it then gave me a rooted bud in a cup (RIP).

The tent got a little toasty the other day and a few plants didn't like it but they bounced back quickly. I got off work late and wasn't able to unzip in time. I'm seriously thinking of putting a mini split in the tent so I cant always keep it zipped and it will control humidity
