hmm okay thanks Al. I'm thinking maybe I should just exhaust the smell out my window. I'm a medical patient so it's legal. I just don't want to draw attention to myself. Never know, some landlords just use a bullshit excuse to kick you out if they feel like it.
Its best to exhaust outside to keep temps down. Take a 2x8 cut to length to fit in the window and drill a 4 inch hole for a dryer outlet.

You could also exhaust into a crawl space or attic. If its an attic you could just patch the dry wall when you move out.

Got told at hydrostore that fan and filter should be same size, or can cause turbulence. my fan 5' my filter 4' but not connected atm but cant really see any problems using that much smaller.
@whitebb2727 4' fan @190CFM is a beast fan lol 4' that I was looking at were barely 108cfm. I settled on a 5' RVK @215cfm.

Dude told you that so the filter would need replacing more often.

Read the first line from phresh website.

They tell you to match the filter so you have to by more of them. A larger filter does a better job and last.longer.

The guy at the hydro shop is there to sell you something. Although he may have some knowledge its in his best interest to make money.

in my experience the guys at the stores are jokers. Reminds me of going to a skateshop, hipped up cool guys, nothing but fanboy 420 fist bumpers. rad bro, right on, epic. Selling you bogus over priced garbage and disrespecting anyone who doesn't have a backwards hat, or an over amped ego. and they're usually about as smart as a bag of rocks.

Same thing as going to the big box auto parts stores. Might be a guy that knows his stuff but most just know how to punch keys on a computer.

I went into one and told them I had a 86 mustang that came out with a v6 but swapped a 302 into it with 351 heads and the dude had no idea. I had to explain how to look up parts.
