This will be my second grow.
1st grow got me 2lbs off 8 autos (Bubblegum/ Jack Herer/ OG Kush) in soil in a 4'x4' tent with a 600w HPS.(1200w last 4 weeks)

I have changed damn near everything for this time.

4 gallon hempy buckets with 2/1 perlite/vermiculite mix. Changing nutes in a week from GH to M/C.

Veg is 18/6 in a 4'x4' tent with a 6K 600W MH, 6" Hydrofarm exhaust. Sun Systems Yield Master hood.

Flower is 2- 1000W SE HPS in a 4'x8' tent also in Yield Masters. 8" Hydrofarm exhaust.
A California Light Works Solar System UVB will be added in for the last 3 weeks of flower.

will be flipped on 1/11 @ 6wks veg. 5 gallon for this one. (My OCD saw the square 4 gal buckets 2 days later...)

#2 will follow a week later @ 4wks.

#4 will be flipped 2 weeks after #3 on 2/15 @ 8 weeks veg.

I will say I am super happy with the hempy buckets.
Last night, #2 and #3's roots finally hit the water shelf. They have gone from looking like #4 to what the are in 24hrs.

Anyway,

I'm following this for sure. I'm in soil currently, also using LED, but looks like a great set up, and I'm going to try MH/HPS at some point, also going to try the buckets soon, likely before trying MH/HPS (will be a lot cheaper to try that first lol).

Great looking set up and great looking harvest!

Just ordered another 1000W ballast so Veg tent will now be a 1kW/4200k MH.

This just turned into a 3kW grow :o

Anyone looking for 2- 600W HPS and 1- 315CMH ballast with bulbs?
Priced to move... :P

oh snap I picked up some skywalker OG as well. Tagging along so I can see the progress! Best of luck with the grow.

I'm still rocking 1000w HPS/MH in my flower room, tbh the flowers are stacked much farther down the plant than the LED grows but that might be genetics or strain differences.

So,
Plant #1 is now 5 weeks into veg. 1 more week and she's getting flipped. I put her under a net tonight and am loving the even growth I'm getting. I took the top 2 inside fan leaves off the main splits. Besides that I haven't done any defoliation. Not sure yet if I'm going to do any or not this run.

Finally got the 1000W ballast up and running in the veg tent, so I moved the little ones over there. I'm really amazed to see the growth out of them now that they found the water. Not to shabby for 1 week from seed. Pretty sure they are going to easily out grow the first. It started life in soil.

Took a couple pics with my Lux meter. I am shocked @ how much light these ladies are liking. The oldest is under almost as much light as my last run at the end of flowering.

I think I'm going to like these ladies...

You got almost a kilo from 8 autos? Wow. What breeder did you use?

Loving your grow journal! 2 pounds of autos with 1200w for only the last 4 weeks??? that is VERY impressive for a first grow... Personally my first grow was a succesful attemp to make seeds(using 130w of cfl for 3 plants). LOL but at least, my bigger head was the size of my forearm...

Not joking, but my head was FULL of seeds... nothing smokable.

The net did it's trick. It definitely spread her out. So well it split the main shoot straight down the middle about 4".

It's funny. First grow I would have been on here flipping out and asking for help.

Second grow,
Fuck it. Zip tie it. She'll be good :grin:

Yeah it happened to me outdoor, but it was way worst, the worst part is I didn't even do anything, but it healed alone and the part between the split became hard as wood...

Right now I am the first guy. Freaking out thinking a damn weed might night even grow in there. I read one where the poster dug into the soil to see if the seed was working and killed it. Not gonna lie I have been eyeballing my soil wondering wtf is going on in there so I almost died when I read that.

Update

The big one is less than a week until flip so I removed a few larger/lower old fan leaves so she can recoup and be ready to focus on the flower sites come Saturday. Seems like she's going to be fine from the earlier net incident.

The little ones are coming along nicely. Have a short squat one, one that's stretching her legs and a runt. I'll be watching them closely over the next few weeks so I can decide which phenotype I want to clone.
Looking forward to getting this going. Can't believe it's almost time for flower already. bongsmilie
