Just wondering. What technique are you using on your first grow? It looks like it worked.

For FIM I personally suggest doing it on a plant with more than 4 nodes. And once the main colas form LST them out of the way and other colas will form and then LST them as well. I did this on my first grow and ended up with 5.5 o's after 5 weeks veg 11 flower saliva dominant. I think that's pretty good. In my opinion FIM + LST = WIN

I am hoping to not do anything to the plant... But LST would likely be the way I would go if I did anything... Well it had (4) nodes I just wrote it a little weird in first post... I wrote 2nd set of nodes which is (4) nodes total...
Do you mean (4) sets of nodes or when the plant has (4) nodes... Check out the pics in the #3 post in this thread and let me know....

Already did the cut... And this pic would be good if I were topping a plant... I would love to get a pic with description of the different parts of the new growth at the top of the plant...
Those pic show you ALL the parts! They will just keep replicating for as long as you keep topping/fimming.
We've tried to steer you in that direction countless times. Go to UB's profile and read the posts he makes. He is a Master Gardener and gives detailed information on growing. He is a bit hard to take sometimes and doesn't like to sugar coat things, but his info is solid. You can do the same with Bricktops posts and many others. I know it's hard sometimes, to take in information that's contrary to what we are trying to accomplish and many will unknowingly point us in the wrong direction. The trick is to filter through all the BS. Please don't reply to this.

The actual 4th node, so you at least have 8 sets of side branches for possible main colas.

8 colas or 8 tops? You guys should rally re-read UBs post so you under the tranfer of hormones when you top a plant. Sorry but 8 branches does not mean 8 MAIN colas.

thank you everyone for setting this douchebag straight. had I not read the whole thing I would be saying the same thing to you that everyone else is. you're not breaking ground here. get lost already...and search through topics before you post a new thread on something already accomplished...there's a couple hundred pages of info and discussion on topping seedlings and other forms of early plant development. you obviously didn't do much reading on your own before you decided to put up this NONSENSE. i only read this thread because i thought an experiment was going down.
Now im posting on this thread to tell you, phxfire, to be a little bit more OPEN to opinions and suggestions.
You started insulting people after they were outright trying to help you with terminology and to clarify the point of your experiment.
