4 weeks into flowering and seeing problems help!

Ok guys so its been a while since ive posted in a marijuana forum for growing but im back and need some advice on what to do with my babies, heres some background info on them. PLEASE READ WHOLE POST BEFORE GIVING ADVICE!

Strains- Afghan, Pineapple Express, Gods Bud, and Death Star *All in 5 gal pots*

Setup- 5x9 Grow tent,1000w hps, inline fan bringing air in to cool that bad boy, and a carbon filter to cover that smell

Ingredients- Pro Mix soil, Rock Nutrients, with a little cal mag

Now my problem is that im loosing alot of my lower leaves turning yellow/brownish and my top nodes where my buds are the tips are a neon yellow with some brown in the ends I've also noticed that the stems are beginning to turn purple and seem to be running into my leaves turning the veins of leaves to also turn purple in the middle.

Trust me ive done my research on this i know all the possiblities of what it could be nutrient lock out, ph problem, temp problem, nitrogen def etc. but ive ruled out that it most likely is a nutrient lock out from what ive read about rock nutrients and how they build up alot of salt in the soil and need to be flushed almost weekly in flowering because of it, but ive heard once you flush in flowering it can cause the buds to stop fattening up and you're pretty much stuck with the product you already got and if thats the case ill just leave them as they are I was told by my local hydro store that they have heard and seen about rock nutrients turning the tip a neon yellow and that its normal to loose bottom leaves in flowering basically suggesting that i leave it alone and dont mess up a healthy grow thats already going but to me i know when my plants are healthy and something just isnt right here so please help me out guys and gals should i just flush them and see what happens or leave them alone and continue feeding as usual until they are ready for a final flush ? Heres some pics. Thanks!

Older leaves do die at somepoint. It's normal. Pull of those yellow guys. It's important to pay attention to your new growth and it looks pretty healthy up top. That being said you could up the nutes if you wanted maybe add a partial veg nute to your next feeding. Also look into clearex and how you can flush and feed for the most part at the same time.

Actually your stems are green and your getting a tiny bit of burn on the upper leaves you may wanna try easing up before you increase nutes. But your plant looks overall healthy, but pull off the ugly leaves they're harming more than helping with energy at this point.

Ok thanks for the reply man last feed I went half strength on all notes I plan on flushing tmr I'll check into the clearex forrsure and again re introduce half strength nutes after they recover from the flush and go from there I guess

I never add any avail N after 4 weeks of flower. The plant usually stores it durning veg and just before the 12/12 and 2 wks into 12/12 I give a tea with fairly high N. Then the plant will store and use the N as needed. I also grow in soil.

How many plants do you have running in the tent? I'm running a similar setup with a lemon haze that's 1 week behind your plants here. It's 1 week behind but looks 1 week ahead of yours. Mine aren't in a nice grow tent, just an open room with white reflective roll stuffs. Don't let people scare you on the yellow leaves, leave em - drop em it doesn't matter all that much, check out a couple grow books. There may be a couple small problems here holding them back. Is your fan system blowing gently across the tops of the plants, just rustling their leaves? I've seen box fans pull moisture from the inners of plants when blowing them through the centers of the plants, causing some premature leaf drop. It also looks (as some have pointed out) that the plants looked a little extra stretched, how close are you running your lights to the tops of the plants? If you'd like to see pics of my 3 week lemon haze running under a 1000 Watt HPS, I could post em or PM them. May be good to compare, we could possibly compare grow regimes.
