Ive got an 84'' tent and it is all the way at the top. I also run a 8'' vortex fan hooked up to a 10x39'' phat filter. Ive done two runs in my previous tent which was a few inches shorter; to short. These lights really like to be up high. One was in the summer and I had to drop to 600-750w a lot of it because of heat. Its winter now and things are going much smoother. The light is also just high enough that i can stand up in the tent which is really nice. I really enjoy the setup but honestly its pretty unique and purpose built. I only do one grow a year- in the winter because the light just helps heat the house and winter temps make everything very manageable. If your talking 4 lights that almost sounds more like a room buildout. You are far past hobby size.

Quick update, had some issues with low humidity but since getting a small humidifier, upping nutrients and hitting the plants with calmag foliar growth is picking up. At the end of the week I will probably transplant into the Floraflex 3 galls and switch on the Gavita LED!

Transplant day, gotta love the root development in coco! These Mc Kushmints are definately the most vigorous of the bunch. Next post I'll have auto irrigation all set and will probably switch the Gavita 1700e on.

ive got macXsherb, macXsluiracane, macxrillaz, macx reese, macx Kush mints, macx strwberry, macxrootbeer. rootbeerXhulk, king hulk, and maybe another one or two. i kept a few runts but most plants have grown nice and big

Word around town is that mac doesnt cross for shit with most strains.... You really went all in on the mac there didnt ya?

Same, if I find one keeper out of 4 packs I'm fine with that vs sending out $200 USD for a 6 pack of fems still less than half the price. I'll be interested to hear what you think of the final results and how WSS compares to JoTI

Who pays prices like that?

Floraflex is a go and auto watering is up and running. No more hand watering, multiple smaller feeds a day really makes a huge difference when growing in coco and saves my lazy ass a lot of time.

In two weeks and I'll take cuttings/top and flip a week after that.

How was the growth pattern on kush mints? How long did you veg before flipping? Mine seem pretty robust, I guess I will see how it translates into flower.

probable 7 or 8 week from seed. it seems to be doing allright iv got a bunch of other WSS stuff going with it.

I use the gavita de lights. I have a couple friends running the gavita led. I yield more per fixture than them, but I'd say they yield more per watt.

I hit 1.6 grams per watt last run with the de set to 1150. Never thought I'd hit that much but I'm not complaining. He hits around 2 # per fixture. So it really equals out to about the same.

That being said in a tent I'd ditch the de and run another led. I have 10 ft ceilings and can benefit from the spread better. Over a 4x4 even if you can control the heat it's too much.

Yeah I changed my mind on the DE in the tent, I should start a new thread. Im already hitting 28C with these LEDs. AC infinity fan is on the way and this is probably going to morph into a Gavita 1700e LED vs Budget Chinese LED.

I noticed a few Mac Burger hermies last night, and my kush mints was a hermie too. killed them
it was my first try with WSS and not very impressed. except for the price I paid for the seeds.
every thing is looking ok except for the hermies. FUCK

Bro no need to kill them. Next time it happens get reverse dragon and spray. Pick off the balls. Sounds like to me it's not the seed problem sounds like there some type of stress or something in your room or tent or whatever u growing In.

never know for sure what caused it? I planted over 100 seeds and weeded those down to 80 or so, and have them all planted in a 10ft by 8 ft raised bed in a insulated out building. there is 10 strains and only so far I have found for sure balls on 2 of the strains.
Im looking for quality mothers, so saving them and spraying them with reverse is not in the cards, only the strong survive.
