thanks man...yeah, if all 4 of my plants had turned out female, im guessing i could have gotten anywhere from 150-200g...fucking males

how many times u top em?

just once when they were about 6-8 inches tall

so r u supposed to top indicas early or let em get to about 12-14'' then top em,
cuz im lookin into some afghan kush or some other hiegh yeilding indica?

i would top early to get some nice thick branches to hold up some nice thick buds
but i dont really know..thats just what i would probably do
top early on one and top later on another and see which produces more branches and buds

I'd also say top twice. Top once, and then top each new top once it gets about 1 new node. This will double the amount of branches you will be budding.

not in a scrog setup. It would allow you to fill more screen, and have more budding sites. Having more branches won't lower yield unless the they aren't getting light. In a scrog, the idea is to fill the screen as best as possible, which JG did very well, and then once you start flowering, you remove pretty much any growth under the screen which maximizes the size of the buds. https://www.rollitup.org/indoor-growing/90011-4x4-600w-scrog-3rd-wk.html I know I've posted this link before, but look how his stems look under the screen. Its a great example of topping more then once.
