400 hps

how hot would it get in a 3x3x7 closet ( width x depth x height)

depends on outer temps and venting...nobody can know this but you. we dont live in your conditions. what else is in room and so on.

my closet is 3x3x10 with a 400watt hps... my closet with lights on without the ac in the room that the closet is in on.. is as high as 95 but my ac is always on so it stays at 75 while the lights are on... and 65 lights off... hope that helps

My 2x3x7 w/a 400 watt, will run 100 with no problems, if not cooled and ventilated!

will it be a grow closet or a closet in your home?If one in your home you should make sure you have some good venting maybe even a air cooled reflector so u can vent out the heat it causes.

way to cold lights off buddy. never below 70 or they shut down...hyber4nate. stressfull to them. want to be within a 5 degree form day to night. same with humidity...5%

see...like i said...all we have is their rooms tempos..not what you have...all being diff to. need more info to get a real answer....and im niot saying this is abd advice...just its not YOUR conditions. think you wanted yours right....lol...jk

yea its in my house closet with a hot water heater in it to so yea fook that imma just thro it in the spare bedroom closet its about 3 deep 8 wide n seven tall. any heat problems with that? i live in washington st so it wold probly be like a heater in the winter huh lol

probaly explains why my baby plants been growin so slow... my starters i like to keep in the window sill but the window is open all the time n it gets fairly cold at night and i notice it gets droopy as fuuuck i guess thats when it shuts down!lol fuuuck i need some timers!!! lol

no..not 10 degree. people do that to slow chlorophyll production to make purple leaves at harvest. a 10 degree swing form day to night may also cause pm. if humidity is high or to low. dose nothing but stress them.

you keep askin about heat but no venting info. or what hood of any. is it a sealed room. plant counts and sizes...lots determins the heat

cuz there is no venting info! its a room it has a window... its a closet it has the sliding doors... what else you wanna know?

no matter waht you do you'll need venting. Even in a bedroom closed up it would get mighty warm. You on the wet side or dry side of Wa?

you need venting to be sucessfull. youll always have heat issues then....a window isnt venting. need to exchange the air once every 3 to 5 min. htere is also more to venting than just heat reasons...fresh o2 and co2 also

the wet side... imma new grower just started this year just getting a hps. if i WILL need venting what type? fans? the window will stay open its just gonna be the flowering room so i think it will be fine if i do the plants day at night since it gets kinda cold naa mean?!

i sayd its 3 deep about 8 wide n 7 tall

i also heard something about spraying the plants with co2 water. would this work?

you don't have much to worry about with outside temps. I draw air in the window and vent it out the other side of the room. in the winter I just vent back into the room for heat. you'll just have to watch and adjust as needed. Oh I'm over the hill and into the dry lands. lol
