400W HID Repair

Ok, a little back story; I was raided by the cops a number of years ago. Back in mid 2011.
They destroyed everything I had, but they were sloppy in destroying my HID. They broke my bulb, and cut the wires. But they didn't cut the wires at the base, they cut them dead in the middle of both. I'll be repairing those cuts, and getting a new bulb soon. I can't even use it yet but... it has me so depressed to see it broken so...
Here's some pics of the break, and the light and ballast. I got it VERY inexpensively, it's all in my old grow journal, here's a link to the page where I compare and contrast it, as well as a thread I once posted to try to share the good deal, since it was WAY better then the typical HID that was being advertised at the time.
My old grow >>> https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/421945-4x-100-indica-master-kush-17.html
And the poll about the light i'm talking about >>> https://www.rollitup.org/indoor-growing/428418-cheap-400w-hpss-way-cheaper.html

And here are the pics of the repairs needed.

She's UL Listed and CE certified. But I'm a little weary about repairing and using again...
Anyone think this is a bad idea?

Yeah, no damage like that, i've wired her back up well.
Unfortunately... from the size of my grow (in my sig) that there is not only little reason to run a 400W HPS on her, but there may not be room.
I've got a converted squirrel cage fan to pump air and remove it... But it's a lot of big dreams that may be out of reach. :\

Yup, I had some flickering issues last night, but it seems to have stopped. I have my baby vegging out under it right now, with a blower fan sucking the heat out. Can't keep it like this though, it's ultra conspicuous, and in NO way stealthy. lol
