Guys got a question for you, what is your opinion of firing up 400w mh in hps ballast? I've been reading and reading and reading some more for past few weeks and and can't come to conclusion, what's your take on this topic? I know HPS ballast needs the ignitor to fire an HPS bulb but MH doesn't need one.

your ballast isnt switchable? give it a shot, whats the worst that could happen? you could fry the ballast then would have a great excuse to buy a nice 600w dimmable switchable kit

Matt have you seen my ballast? haha dude it's magnetic and it weights a ton haha the only thing I switched on it was I went remote with the ballast because it was a one unit in one, bulb and ballast. I'm panning on getting one when the funds from uncle Sam arrive

All that i see in the bottom left corner is a little yield sign that says report post when i hover over it. Maybe i have to have a certain number of posts before i can add or deduct rep. Makes sense.

you cant deduct any rep no matter how many posts you have. and yes i believe you have to have 10 posts before you can give someone rep.

not too concerned with rep to be honest. just get out there and read through journals, ask questions and indulge in some convorsation. most people on here enjoy having the new guys around as long as they arent know it all jokers. you planning on growing or already growing or whats the scoop? what brings you to RIU?
Yes, not intending on hi jacking acidjesus thread. Was here just too check out a potential strain i may be interested in growing myself. I am currently growing HSO's bubba kush, pineapple kush, and chemdawg. Just planted, so i will create a grow journal for everyone to see when there are some decent pictures to post. Probably in the next 2 weeks to month. Thanks for your interest!
