slab, ak48 is the strain and they are in gd old soil, so yeh they are one of the early finnishing plants meant to take 48 days in ideal conditions, but il also add im using cfl's so personally i rate that as under ideal conditions so maybe add a week or 2 to that?

Aeroponic will get you there, infact 45 days is possible (Green Crack, etc).

Have read about the harvest window for Sativas that open and close, and I am at the present time witnessing it.
Sour Diesel which is known to take forever 75+, I have LOWER buds 50% red pists and the cola white as the driven snow.

EveryDay, what strain and medium? If you have stated I apologise, JAH's early blessing has me dunced.
edited shit sorry jus seen ur post above lol

Few variables.

Do you have your next batch ready?
Are you in a hard to get good fruits region?

THC degradtion should be your topic of study at this point.

But flush for sure, with what ever method you choose.

I am going to try water curing, should be Ideal for you since you could harvest now. The process is like a post flush you could say.
I am not versed in the method but will share results.

God, all I can think of is that you guys are going to ruin his harvest if you keep telling him to pull 'em. Shit let the plants grow, fuck'n A.

Magnifying glass is all you need.

When 80% of the hairs turn and the trics turn color then pluck 'em and hand 'em.. when the stems 'snap' cut and cure in jars. Open jars for about 30 minutes a day to prevent mould.. more if necessary.

Read around on harvesting and curing if you have questions.

It is in the GROWfaq. A few folks on here who I have learned alot from, frown upon because of the loss of flavor.

I would harvest one @ 50% turn in pistils, the other 80% per Enigmas advice and the last one let die of old age. The latter gives a full smoke that would be similiar to the water cure.
Experiencing the highs from varying degrees of ripeness is my kind of research, ooooh yeah light your lighter.

Between your smoke, butter and the oil you should be toasting for a good while.
Cheers EveryDay, and thank you for lettings us leer at your ladies:mrgreen:

GetHighED,

I'm new to this; learning what I can before I begin. Did you grow these using CFLS? What wattage, brand, etc? I was planning on 250 HID's but they say to exhaust the heat. This would solve my heat concerns; I'll only have to work on the odor problem.

Water curing.. that sounds like the opposite of that we want to do here.. dry bud.. why would anyone want to increase moisture and prolong the time we have between harvest and smoke?

ok got my eye loupe through the post, its only 10x magnifying so not that great, but from what i can see on the most maturest plant, theres a few amber trichs, quite a few clear and milky ones, well more clear milky ones than amber trichs

oh and pretty much all the hair on this plants top cola have turned amber and started to wither, should i chop the cola off soon? only thing is i fed it 2 days ago so need to wait till i flush the plant at least once in a day or 2 then let it dry

Give the article in the FAQ a look see, I have yet to field test Enigma.

I have had outdoors that have died on the vine and harvested in Dec. here in the N.E.
There was Zero taste and the smoke was as dense Hillary Clintons calves.
This is what I am expecting from water curing.
