Second clone is for sure showing roots now.

I think we might chalk up 100% afterall. The other is still looking very healthy. I really hope they all make it. I didn't mark the genetics when I cut them so I won't know what these are until they veg out some more. I want to keep the AK no matter what.

Just got back from the hydro store, my first time being there. Spent an hour talking to the owner, surprising myself on just how much I know, research pays off.

I managed to score some really good deals tho. I got a bottle of GH Florabloom (14.95) A gallon of HESI coco (40.00$) and a 50 pack of rapid rooters (16.00$) for 20$ total. The GH stuff was all 75% off because they started carrying it at Home Depot so they liquidated it. Luckily that one bottle was still left. And the HESI stuff has a sticker that says "Cup Winner" on it, and Oregon law says they can't sell that either so it was also 75% off. I guess someone had just came in and cleared out all of that stuff. This gallon I got was being used to hold a door open and the guy just said "grab that and I'll give it to you for 75% off). And I think he sold me the rapid rooters for the same discount.

He also gave me a few sprayers to test out so I can come in and get the ones I want later.

AND he found the lighting system I want and with the discount they have for membership (100$ one time fee lifetime membership) it drops from 460$ to 310$. The "retail to wholesale" price cut for their membership gives you really big discounts.
This is that light system I was talking about.

Has t-5's along the sides and 2 150w HPS bulbs. This would be perfect for doing a mini-sog (single cola plants flowered from clone, ending around 18") in the bottom area of my grow closet.

I'm really excited to get away from Miracle Grow tho.

Hesi Coco, and GH FlovaBloom. Not the best, but it's a start, and it was damn cheap!

cool. Im waiting on some strwbrry cough X Diesel. How easy is the plant during veg? I always seem to run into problems but id like to hear what you faced so I can be prepared. :)

I had no problems with it really. It was the most stable of the 3 clones I got. It grows really tight and and the node spacing is really small. I put them in 5 gallon buckets with Black Gold Ogranic soil. And it has responded well to Miracle Grow at 1/4 strength and 1/2 strength with no signs of burning. I have not had to flush her yet and she has never had a loss of vigor except when I first got them and got rid of the mites.

And some others I took while doing some LST.

AK Pre-LST

AK after

Silver Haze after LST

Strawberry Cough after LST

I just pulled these 2 small dinky branches off the thai (I've recently been told they are ThaixSkunk crosses, not Thai) and slapped them in the cloner just for fun. I didn't take them with water nearby and just slopped e'em in some powder and set 'em. Not expecting anything but it was grabage plants material anyways. I should prune alot of that stuff off.

My other 3 are doing good. 2 have roots, the other I think is still pushin' it.

Thanks for the kind words, Dewey.

Everyone be happy.
I just got more clones. :)

Sensi Star
White Widow
Chocolope
And something else, I can't remember or we didnt clarify.
I went to the clinic to get some clones and met another medical grower who had some clones for me. I thought I had grabbed a C99 clone but I guess I left it.

And only 1 is labeled and established, the chocolope. The others are just cuttings but they should be fine in my bubbler, which is indeed working nicely. Those little thaixskunk clippings I "pulled" look very perky already. I didn't think they had a chance but I think I'll be proven wrong.

But I'm really excited about the Sensai Star. I was hoping to get it for my lower garden eventually.

So my 8 site cloner is filled and I'm going to transplant the one that is ready into soil.

I'll take some pics.

You probably have Sam the Skunkman's Original T*Haze x Skunk#1. I have 10 of the seeds but they are Sativa so i cant use em. Traded 5 of them with another member. I have 5 left if you ever plan on doing a seed run with something you have goin on right now.

They all look great so far. How big are you going to veg them?

edit: just saw your post with the strawberry. That plant is beautiful man! Have any plans for LSTing it? Did you ever top or FiM it?

Thanks for the heads up on the strain. It is definately a sativa and like you, I don't realy want to use it. They were my first 4 tho and I expect decent size yields from them so I will let them ride out this grow, I think I will cut like 30 clones off these when I prune the lower growth and donate them to the local clinic.

And I have been lsting that strawberry, it got like a weeks worth of vertical growth that I didn't cull until the other day. Now her profile is much shorter and wider, which is how I'm doing my entire garden basically. I might even toss a screen up when they start flowering.

My hps ballast and bulb from HTG supply are in the mail and hopefully arrive by the end of the week. Might finally swap to 12/12 this weekend so that will be the end of vegging. The thai cross has had near 10 weeks of vegging. The others have had about 4 weeks, but they were also weakened by mites so they're probably not as big as they should be. But no lack in vigor in them since they all became healthy.

I watered again last night with the Hesi stuff 50ml/10l, even tho I watered 2 days ago (light watering, which I' going to stop doing). They got about 1.5 gallons between all of them and they looked a little wimpy this morning, but look better this evening. I wrapped my buckets tops in mylar in an attempt to curb the fungus gnats and offer better low growth lighting. I'm not sure if it will help kill some gnats, my thinking is it would stgop the life cycle if the adults can't get out or in to lay more eggs on the surface. If I don't notice alot less dead gnats in my hood then I'm going to take them off and try some gnatrol from the hydro shop. I don't want to deal with gnats more between waterings as well.

Also one of the clones I got had some powdery mildew on it so I made a fungicide bath for it and gave it a good 5 second dunk, it was the chocolope. That grower was having some trouble with powdery mildew and due to high humidity it sounded like. He has sense been running a heater during lights off to keep temps around 75 and humidty lowered as well. It was 34% when I was there, and he is flowering. So hopefully his organic anti mildew spray will do the job for him. Luckily a clone is easier to deal then flowering plants, just dunk it, wipe it down, you're kosher.

Ok pics of what I just did, taken in a rush but hopefully thats ok.

My good looking roots.

Transplanted into Black Gold, red label. Not the organic OMRI listed soil from them that I prefer. But it's all they had and I think I can manage even if it is a little hot.

And my cloner all filled up and ready to go.
T-HazexSkunk#1 ?
Strawberry Cough
Ak-47
Super Silver Haze
White Widow
Chocolope
Sensai Star
and one mystery clone, but I'm gonna ask the grower if he remembers what it was, if I ever see him again.

lucky duck :)
Yeh definately.

My newly transplanted clone looks really wimpy already. I don't have any b-1 or anything like that. I hope it's just a normal thing and they pick up soon. I've never transplanted a clone like this so I'm unfamiliar with recovery time but I guess this will help me figure it out.
